    ADHD & Women

Traditionally, girls and women weren’t given a ADHD diagnosis, even when they showed many symptoms, and it was known as something that was given to “hyper boys who can’t focus in school”. He has previously coordinated the Hillsborough County north mental health court, coordinated a supported employment program, coordinated a mental health-based housing voucher program, worked with federal inmates on their reentry, and provided individual counseling for a variety of populations. In addition to his career experience, he is the father of 3 boys, was a teen father, and is an avid gardener and the coordinator of a local community garden.
