In this episode Siobhan discusses being diagnosed with Secondary Addisons Disease, and the affect it had on her life, and how it rekindled her love of music. She also alks about her time in musicials in her native Trim. She also discusses learning hpw to play the piano, and streaming her version of O Mio Babbini Caro and how it went viral worldwide,  and talsk about her single Nella Fantasia and how it came about, and how proceeds from the song are going to charity.  She also talks about being classically trained by Deirdre Shannon, and how finding music again has made her happy and content in her life.  She also gives her Top 5 albums and Top 5 artists/bands of all time.

In this episode Lisa talks about her parents, her mother the late great Maisie McDonnell and her father the accordion player Fintan Stanley. She also talks about her first band, and hpw she was a late comer to the music business. She also discusses her entry to the Eurovision song contest and coming in the top 8 in picking a song to represent Ireland. She also talks about her albums, and also how proud she is of her daughter who is now following in her footsteps. She also talks about what she has been getting up to during lockdown.  And as always she gives us her own Top 5 lists.

    Kieran O'Reilly

    In this episode my guest is Hail the Ghost frontman and songwriter Kieran O'Reilly . In this episode Kieran talks about his love for music. He also tells about how a conversation in the pub one night lead to him becoming the new drummer for the band Doris, despite not knowing how to play the drums at the time. He also talks about his time in White McKenzie, and playing live at the Battle of the Bands and how uncomfortable it felt for him. Hwe also discusses his latest band Hail the Ghost,  and talks about how his acting career came about, and his time in the likes of Love/Hate and Vikings. He also discusses Hail the Ghosts 2020 single Wishbone, which was in tribute to 3 year old Syrian boy Alan Kurdi who died in September 2015 and whose body was found washed up on a Turkish beach, and how the image of that boy affected him so much. Kieran also gives us some of his top albums and bands/artists of all time.

    In this episode my guest is the wonderfully talented Irish Trad musician Brídín.  In the episode we talk about how her time growing up as a kid and how she got introduced to music. She also discusses her debut EP Ocean of the Stars, and how it was inspired by nature. She also tells us about how she deals with nerves when on stage, and her plans to play a gig abroad a Boeing 747, when Covid restrictions are lifted. We also talk about her TV appearances including the time she was on the Tommy Tiernan show, and when she appeared on Ireland on Music, witht he likes of Sharon Shannon, Denise Chalia, Mur Li and God Knows. We also discuss her other job as a funeral director and embaler, and talk about growing old and also death. And as always Brídín gives us her Top 5 albums and Top 5 artists/bands of all time, although in her case its her Top 6.

    Episode 1 sees singer songwriter Fiach Moriarty on the podcast.  He talks about how at just 5 years of age he started to learn to play the violin. He also talks about his own albums, and how he came to be a member of the Late Late Show Houseband. Also he talks about his time on the TV show Jingle Jangle where he travelled the The Royal Canal with Jim Lockhart (Horslips) and Fiachna Ó'Braonáin (Hothouse Flowers) and how they played with some gret musicians alomg the way.
