21st Dec 2025; Sunday 2nd Service; Experiencing God's Presence. By Deacon Timothy Ndegwa

Send us a text What happens when the presence that once killed at a touch becomes the presence that heals at a touch? We trace a gripping line from David’s joyful procession and Uzzah’s sudden death to the unlikely blessing that flooded Obed-Edom’s home—then we cross the bridge into the Gospels, where Jesus turns distance into nearness and fear into favour. This is a story about holiness, but it’s also a story about hope: the God who wouldn’t fit on a cart chooses to dwell within us. I open 2 Samuel 6 to show where zeal missed wisdom, why reverence matters and how the Ark’s journey exposes our impulse to handle God on our own terms. From there, we dig into the deeper arc: the first ark guarded by law and separation, the second Ark embodied in Jesus, who welcomes touch, restores dignity and makes a way into the presence of God. We connect the woman who touched the hem of his garment with the promise that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we talk plainly about what it means to carry presence in daily life—at the table, in conflict, through the week. If Obed-Edom’s house could change in three months, what might happen if we made space for Christ’s presence in our homes now? Expect a practical call to consecrate ordinary moments, an honest word about integrity and speech, and a pastoral blessing for doors to open where they’ve stayed shut. Search-friendly, soul-forward themes include 2 Samuel 6, Uzzah, Obed-Edom, God’s presence, holiness and grace, Jesus and incarnation, spiritual formation at home, and the Holy Spirit’s indwelling. 17th Dec 2025, Wednesday Service: Impartation of Uncommon Presence. By Peter Ikumilu, Prayer Ministry.

Send us a text A simple meal can change how you walk with God. We open the Scriptures and our hearts to explore Holy Communion as a living invitation to fellowship, not a performance review. From Matthew 26 to Paul’s teaching in 1 Corinthians, we trace how the bread and the cup ground us in belonging, remind us of the finished work of Jesus, and protect our joy through wise discernment. If you’ve ever wondered how to keep faith from becoming a checklist, this conversation offers a path back to relationship. We talk about koinonia—the rich New Testament idea of participation, sharing, and fellowship—and why Jesus chose an ordinary table to reveal extraordinary grace. You’ll hear how “while they were eating” frames communion as shared life with God and one another, especially meaningful during seasons of reunion when many feel unseen. We also address a common stumbling block: what it means to “discern the body” without spiralling into self-condemnation. The goal is not sinless posing but honest alignment with grace, so we can approach with gratitude and leave with renewed courage. Together we pause, reflect, pray, and partake, letting Scripture reset our posture from striving to abiding. The result is practical: we walk out more aware of God’s presence, quicker to forgive, and steadier in hope. Communion becomes a weekly recalibration that shapes what we pray for, how we love people who are hurting, and how we carry peace into ordinary moments—tea poured, cake shared, neighbours thanked. Join us, listen with an open heart, and let the table remind you that you are invited, wanted, and you belong. If this speaks to you, follow the show, share it with a friend, and leave a review so others can find their way back to the table too. 14th Dec 2025 2nd Service; Eternal & Impactful Presence. By PBC Senior Pastor, Rev. Ambrose Nyangao, EBS

Send us a text A great light breaks into a weary world, not with sirens and fences, but with presence. We open Isaiah 9 and follow the thread through Matthew and John to ask a simple but seismic question: what changes when God steps into history with a human face? From the manger to the throne, we map three anchors—entry, naming, and reigning—and show how they transform fear, purpose, and daily choices. First, entry. The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us, not as a seasonal sentiment but as the doorway into redemption. That move gives us access: children of God by grace, not performance. Then, naming. Isaiah’s titles—Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace—are not poetry for cards; they are job descriptions for your life. The Wonderful Counsellor offers wisdom for real problems. The Mighty God defends when you feel outmatched. The Everlasting Father ends spiritual orphanhood. The Prince of Peace stitches broken pieces into wholeness. Along the way, we challenge false refuges that promise relief but chain the soul, inviting listeners to seek better counsel and a better comfort. Finally, reigning. The government is on his shoulders, and there is no end to his peace. We explore royal authority through the image of the sceptre and Esther’s bold pivot: stop pleading as if shut out and write a new decree aligned with the King. You are made a kingdom and priests under Christ’s supremacy, called to act with faith and clarity—on paper and in prayer. Finish strong, not by hype but by presence: assurance over anxiety, purpose over drift, peace over chaos. If this spoke to you, share it with a friend, subscribe for more, and leave a review with the word or name of Jesus that lifted you most today. Your story might be the light someone else needs. DECEMBER WEEK 3_THEME VISION :SPIRIT-LED JOY

Send us a text A simple truth can change the tone of an entire season: joy is not a mood swing, it’s a source of strength. We explore spirit-led joy through three clear movements—rejoicing, overflow, and strength—grounded in Philippians 4:4, John 15:11, and Nehemiah 8:10. You’ll hear how choosing to rejoice is not denial but trust, how abiding in Christ produces an overflow that touches family and neighbours, and how celebration, far from being escapist, becomes a concrete act of hope that includes those who have nothing prepared. We speak as a community grateful for God’s presence and goodness across the year, and we slow the moment down to ask what joy looks like in practice. Rejoicing starts with gratitude and returns us to God when moods shift. Overflow shows up as patience in crowded rooms, generous words in tense moments, and hospitality that sets an extra place at the table. Joy as strength means we stop trying to carry everything alone; we borrow courage from the Lord, share what we have, and let celebration heal our haste. If you’re weary, this is a gentle guide back to the centre. If you’re full, it’s a nudge to pour out. We close with a blessing of peace and joy for the days ahead, inviting you to reflect on the year behind and face the next with steady hearts. Subscribe for more short, Scripture-shaped reflections, share this with someone who needs courage today, and leave a review to tell us where you’re choosing to rejoice this week. December Theme Vision Week 2: Giving Thanks Invites Joy And God’s Presence

Send us a text What if December became the month you stop chasing joy and start receiving it? We lean into a simple but transforming practice: letting thanksgiving lead. Grounded in John 3:16, Psalm 107, and 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, we explore how gratitude shifts the heart from what is missing to what God keeps giving—his goodness, his presence, and the daily benefits that meet each day’s needs. We begin with the foundation of salvation, not as a distant doctrine but as the living reason gratitude makes sense. If God has given his Son, then every day arrives already marked by mercy. From there, we turn to the mental loop of unmet expectations and delays. Thanksgiving interrupts that loop. Naming God’s gifts—large and small—reorients attention from anxiety to assurance. We discuss the image of God loading us with benefits day by day and how that reshapes how we carry today without borrowing tomorrow’s worry. As the conversation unfolds, we draw the straight line between gratitude and joy. Joy is not hype; it is the fruit of God’s presence. Psalm 16 tells us there is fullness of joy with him, and thanksgiving opens that door. We share practical ways to live this rhythm: speaking Scripture aloud, recording three specific thanks each evening, and choosing to thank God before feelings catch up. These habits cultivate resilience, reduce grumbling, and strengthen trust. The result is a calm, steady joy that does not deny pain but refuses to be defined by it. If you’re ready to trade restlessness for rootedness, press play and walk with us through a month of spirit‑led joy. Beyond Ramps: Rethinking Disability In The Church

Send us a text A number can be loud: around 70,000 Nairobians live with disabilities, yet that reality rarely shows up in church pews. We wanted to understand why, so we traced the barriers from doorstep to doxology—broken pavements, inaccessible buildings, sensory overload—and then named the subtler walls built by curiosity and theology. The casual “What happened to you?” can reopen wounds, while miracle‑centric expectations reduce disabled believers to projects in need of fixing. We talk honestly about how that culture erodes dignity and turns worship into a test of faith. To rebuild, we draw on richer biblical stories. Moses leads with a stammer and a promise of presence, not a guarantee of cure. Mephibosheth moves from Lodibar to a table that must have been readied for real bodies, not metaphors. Those pictures push us to design church life that removes physical, attitudinal, and communication barriers: predictable services, quiet spaces for sensory needs, captions, accessible seating and aisles, and roles that recognise calling rather than perfection. Inclusion also means leadership access—placing disabled voices on microphones, teams, and boards where wisdom is needed most. We also open space for lament alongside joy. Acquired disability and caregiving can carry deep grief, and forced positivity only isolates. Scripture gives language for sorrow and solidarity; we can offer prayer with consent, practical help without performance, and community that welcomes both strength and exhaustion, sometimes on the same day. If you’re longing for a church that chooses belonging over spectacle and presence over presumption, you’ll find tools, language, and hope here. If this conversation moves you, follow the show, share it with a friend, and leave a review with one concrete barrier your community will remove next. 7th December 2025 2nd Service: Impartation Of Uncommon Presence. By PBC Senior Pastor, Rev. Ambrose Nyangao, EBS

Send us a text Fire at Sinai. Joy at Zion. We open with a startling contrast: God’s presence is both overwhelming and welcoming, terrifying and transforming. That tension becomes our lens for the whole conversation as we explore how the “high‑voltage” holiness of God has been stepped down in Christ so we can carry the Spirit’s power without being consumed—and live boldly because of it. From there, we unpack three life‑changing dimensions of presence. First, the presence that secures: a hedge of fire that surrounds, covers, defends, and scatters opposition. Job’s story and Zechariah’s promise remind us that fear is often ignorance of what already encircles us. Then, the presence that favours: Joseph’s rise in a foreign land shows how God’s nearness opens doors, grants trust, and prospers work. We outline five fruits of favour—access, opportunities, enlargement, provision, and prosperity—and connect them to Noah, Mary, and Abraham to show favour’s quiet pattern across Scripture. Finally, the presence that leads: Psalm 23 and Isaiah 42 paint a Shepherd who guides the “blind” along unfamiliar paths, turning darkness into light and rough roads smooth. That’s spiritual leadership for December decisions, strained budgets, and surprise visitors. Along the way, we get practical. Praise isn’t mood music; it’s how we fan the flame on the altar so the fire never goes out. We call out false guidance—horoscopes, mediums, manipulative “prophets”—and point to the Spirit’s wisdom and the safety of many counsellors. We challenge restless roaming that outruns blessing and show why staying where God places you can position you like Isaac for unexpected growth. We end with strong declarations over protection, favour, enlargement, strategy, and rest—rooted in Scripture, spoken for your week. 3rd December Wednesday Service: Uncommon Presence - Spirit-Led Joy. By PBC Deacon, Edwin Isoe

Send us a text What if the missing piece in your plans isn’t a better route but a nearer Guide? We trace Moses’ bold request in Exodus 33—If your presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here—and uncover why God’s nearness matters more than milestones, metrics or maps. From the humour of a wrong Google pin to the gravity of leading a nation, we draw a line from ancient wilderness to modern life, where calendars are full and souls are tired. We dive into knowing God’s character through Moses’ three seasons—prince, fugitive and shepherd‑leader—and show how Scripture forms people who walk in light rather than stumble in darkness. We unpack the covenant arc from Abraham to Israel to all nations, and confront the risk of being religiously busy yet spiritually empty, echoing Jesus’ correction to the Sadducees: you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God. Along the way, John 14 reframes love as obedience and promise as presence: We will make our home with them. Rest becomes the surprising hallmark of a life led by God. We explore physical rest that respects human limits and spiritual rest that guards hearts and minds with peace that surpasses understanding. Parenting moves from rules to reasons, speech shifts from contempt to blessing, and fear of people dissolves into trust in the One who numbers our hairs and clothes the fields. The takeaway is clear and practical: do not move without Him. Ask for His presence, align with His will, and let His peace distinguish your steps. If this spoke to you, follow the show, share it with a friend who needs real rest, and leave a quick review to help others find these conversations. What does “God’s presence” look like in your week?
