Locked On Kraken - Daily Podcast On The Seattle Kraken

I’m happy to see the new updated show with new hosts. Quite a bit more hockey substance and analysis as compared to the previous host. These guys seem better prepared and the discussions are interesting and in depth on hockey data and stats related to Kraken. They’ll also discuss the Seattle women’s PWHL team a bit as well, which is fine, but not too far afield. If you gave up on this Podcast previously (like I did) I would suggest giving this a chance with the new hosts.

I miss Erica Ayala and I enjoy the new hosts. They are still working on audio quality but the content is great just as it was before.

With all due respect to the previous host, Glenn and Zaiem are a lot more plugged into the day-to-day of the Kraken and as a result their content is on another level. Two episodes in and it’s already a very different listening experience. A lot more team and hockey-focused.

I appreciate the host. I listened to as many Kraken podcasts as possible: The Deep Dive, Seattle Kraken Audio Network, The Kraken Pod, Signals From the Deep, and Locked on Kraken. I’ve listened to them all looking for the best one with content. This podcast is easily the worst. If you listen closely to what is said, then you’ll find the content doesn’t say much more than open comments that are facts (easiest to see if you critically read the transcript). It seems like the host is playing it safe with their comments. Also, she uses a lot of speech crutches (if you don’t know what that is, then Google it. It’s stuff like “uhhh”). Host, make predictions and conclusion and support it with data and solid reasoning. It makes us think and get to know the team better. This is what we want. I’m unfortunate going to unfollow.
