Absolutely perfect for sleeping. Music is great too clearly very real and elezebeth’s soft voice is a calming presence all of slumber studios is so good. I recommend listening to it.

WARNING: If you slow down the play speed for the Sleepy Bookshelf podcast, the lovely background music turns into a spaced out funeral dirge. It’s really disturbing, so just return it to normal speed. Elizabeth was kind enough to help me figure it out!

Ok, I don't want this to sound mean, but I feel like every time she finishes a word, she makes a bunch of mouth noises and it really annoys me. Honestly it's kind of obnoxious. But that's just me.

I’ve been listening to Sleepy Bookshelf for a while and find Elizabeth’s natural voice and her cadence soothing and perfect for this format. I sometimes barely make it through the settling practice and the recap before I drift off to sleep. If I’m still awake when the new chapter starts, I find the background music distracting, it’s eerie, it doesn’t match with the story, and it’s too loud. Lately I listen to it only during the day if I wish to hear the story. That bums me out because I really think this is a good podcast for sleeping… but the creepy music is a big no for me.
