    Welcome to Woody! What does it mean to remain faithful to Jesus when the world around us is hostile to our faith? And what can the experiences of persecuted Christians teach us about following Jesus today? In this message, Rev. Robert May explores Revelation 11 and the picture of the two witnesses. He explains how they represent the Church, called to bear faithful witness to Jesus even in the face of opposition, suffering and death. Drawing on the stories of Christians who have endured persecution, including a powerful encounter with a pastor and his family in Bangladesh, Rob reminds us of the extraordinary faith that can sustain people through the hardest circumstances.     Welcome to Woody! What happens when God’s Word challenges us as well as comforts us? In this message, Pastor Josh explores Revelation 10 and the powerful picture of a little book that tastes sweet in the mouth but bitter in the stomach.     The Father Who Never Stops Loving | The Names of God

    Welcome to Woody! What does it mean to be welcomed home, even when we’ve made mistakes? In this message, we explore one of Jesus’ best-known stories, the Parable of the Prodigal Son, and discover a powerful picture of God’s love for us. The younger son makes a heartbreaking choice, demands his inheritance early and wastes everything. When he finally returns home, expecting little more than to become a servant, his father does something extraordinary: he runs to meet him, embraces him and welcomes him back with open arms. Through this story, we’re reminded that God doesn’t wait for us to get our lives perfectly sorted before he welcomes us. He meets us in the mess, even when that mess comes from our own choices.     Why Doesn't Everyone Turn Back to God? | Revelation 8 and 9 | Part 16

    Welcome to Woody! What does it take for us to turn back to God? And why do warnings sometimes fail to change our hearts? In this message, Stuart takes us through Revelation 8–9, exploring some of the Bible’s most challenging and vivid imagery. The seven trumpets reveal a picture of God’s judgement on evil and injustice, reminding us that God is in control and that our choices have real consequences. Yet even in these difficult passages, we see something important: God is patient, leaving room for people to turn back to him.     Your Identity Is More Than Your Circumstances | Revelation 7 | Part 15

    Welcome to Woody! In Revelation 7, we’re given a powerful picture of what it means to belong to God. Following the question at the end of Revelation 6 — “Who can stand?” — we see that it isn’t the strongest, richest or most powerful who stand, but those who belong to the Lamb. Josh explores what it means to find our identity in Christ rather than in our circumstances, achievements, failures or what other people think of us. Revelation also gives us a beautiful picture of a great multitude from every nation, tribe, people and language, reminding us that God’s kingdom is bigger than any one culture or background. But this chapter is also deeply comforting. Following Jesus doesn’t mean we will never suffer, but it does mean we never suffer alone. The Lamb who was slain becomes our Shepherd, leading us to living water, caring for us and ultimately wiping away every tear.     The Four Horsemen and the Hope of Jesus | Revelation 6 | Part 14

    Welcome to Woody! In Revelation 6, John is shown a powerful and unsettling vision: the Lamb, Jesus, opens the seals of a heavenly scroll, revealing the Four Horsemen, suffering, war, famine, death and persecution. But this chapter is not simply a frightening picture of the end of the world. Revelation means “to reveal”, and throughout this passage we are reminded that even in the darkest moments, God remains in control. The Four Horsemen do not have the final word. Jesus does. Martin explores what these images might mean for us today, from the reality of conflict and inequality to the suffering of Christians around the world. He also asks how we can respond: by trusting God, caring for those who are vulnerable, standing firm in our faith and becoming people who bring hope and light into dark places. Revelation 6, Matthew 24, Psalm 23, Proverbs 9:10 and 1 Peter 3:18–19 are explored as we consider what it means to trust Jesus when life feels uncertain.     God Sees You, Seeks You, Saves You | The Names of God

    Welcome to Woody! What does God see when he looks at us? This message explores the picture of God as a shepherd who sees the individual, searches for those who feel lost, and rejoices when they are found. Using the picture of the lost sheep, we are reminded that we are not overlooked or forgotten. God sees us, knows us and cares for us. He doesn't simply wait for us to find our way back to him — he actively seeks us. The message also points us to Jesus, who came to save humanity and bring us back to God. Through the cross and resurrection, Jesus breaks down the barrier between us and God and offers new life. The challenge for us is not only to receive that good news, but to share it with others. When someone turns to Jesus, there is joy — in our lives and in heaven.     Who Holds the Future? | Revelation 5 | Part 13

    Welcome to Woody! What do we do when the future feels uncertain and we don't know what tomorrow holds? Revelation 5 gives us a powerful answer: we may not know what tomorrow holds, but we can know who holds tomorrow. John sees a scroll in God's hand, sealed and waiting to be opened, but no one is found worthy. Then he hears about a conquering Lion — only to turn and see a Lamb who has been slain. This striking picture points us to Jesus: the victorious King who conquered through sacrifice, the one whose scars tell the story of his love and redemption. Revelation 5 reminds us that Jesus is worthy because he has conquered death, redeemed his people and holds the future. Rather than being consumed by everything we don't understand, we are invited to refocus our eyes on Christ. The chapter ends with heaven declaring, “Worthy is the Lamb!” — a reminder that our hope isn't simply that things will get better, but that Jesus has already conquered death and is alive.If you're facing uncertainty, grief, fear or simply wondering what God is doing, we hope this message encourages you to look to Jesus.
