I finished and loved Evening’s Kingdom. Paula, The images you paint are wonders on the screen of my mind, but even more than your painterly abilities, I appreciate, and am awed by the wisdom you embed in this story. The depth of the truths you place into your characters makes me wonder how did you discover these truths, has Paula lived these?
It is like reading the Bhagavad-Gita and I’m not being hyperbolic. I found myself relistening to sections in order to take in the teachings. You’re a genius, or a channel, or a shaman, or all of these things. This story isn’t just a pleasure, it’s an experience of growth. I’m looking forward to more of Evening’s Kingdom. Thank you.

Captivating and Beautiful

Evening’s Kingdom is a such a delight. The characters are complex, the story is rich, and the world they live in is beautifully described. Each episode leaves you excited to hear the next chapter. Paula is a great storyteller. I can’t wait for the next book!

A true stroyteller

Paula has a gift, and this gift has been honed through her entire life. This gift isn’t storytelling. It’s connecting deeply with her world. She draws upon her own personal life experiences in so many several ways to connect with the humanity of this world and share in the journey of each character. The result of this gift is to tell a phenomenal story in a majestically sensual way, bringing out the curiosity inherent within the true human nature. She doesn’t shy away from the inner work and dialogue of her characters, she embraces their flaws and struggles, in order to create fully formed avatars. I personally recognize scenes that I have shared with her in waking life, and others I have experienced on my own and which she has brought back in vivid detail. We can only write what we know, and few of us do that well. I am honored to have met this Brilliant Light in person and am thrilled to get to know her better through her own creation. Aho Sister!
