    Ep. 11 - Elf (2003) - I'm sorry I ruined your lives and crammed 11 cookies in the VCR

Thankfully we were able to put it up now, although we're still working on fixing the PC. C'est la vie... Thanks for being patient!!     Ep. 10 - Pride & Prejudice (2005) - Is it the most perfect period drama?

New episode also comes out next week as planned. We had really enjoyable conversation about Pride & Prejudice 2005 version, as it is our favorite period drama of all time. The film is directed by Joe Wright and screenplay is written by Deborah Moggach. This movie starrs actors like Keira Knightley, Matthew Macfadyen, Brenda Blethyn, Donald Sutherland, Tom Hollander, Rosamund Pike, Simon Woods, Jena Malone, Judi Dench and many others.     Ep. 9 - Coraline (2009) - Theories, including of why we think The Other Mother aka Beldam actually won

    IG: @moviezwithgenz Welcome back!! Firstly, we are sorry that this episode is a day late!! We had some issues with the sound quality and we even considered not posting it. We had really entertaining conversation about this movie, so we felt that it would be a shame not to share it with you guys even though the sound quality is not the best. We are still new to podcasting so working out the kinks with our equipment is an ongoing process. Thank you for being patient with us!! As our Halloween episode, we discuss the 2009 stop-motion animated movie Coraline. The film is directed and written by Henry Selick. This family/horror movie starrs voice actors like Dakota Fanning, Teri Hatcher, Jennifer Saunders, Dawn French, Keith David, Ian McShane and many others. This time we decided not to make a huge review, but instead analyze this movie and talk about some "conspiracy" theories about Coraline, including some of our own theories. This movie is directed and written by Hayao Miyazaki, arguably one of the best storytellers and animators of all time! The original Japanese version starrs voice actors like Rumi Hiirag, Miyu Irino, Mari Natsuki, Takeshi Naito and many others. As usually, we review and analyze this movie a lot. As people who belong to the Western/Christian cultural sphere it is so refreshing and interesting to see how other cultures and mythologies of the world work. And yes, we mispronounced the name of Haku the whole episode up until the very end, so we apologize for that!! We'll talk about how much darker this movie was than we remembered and spill some fun facts and deleted scene ideas that were thankfully thrown away by Disney. We may or may not hint on Stitch killing one particularly important fish!! We are so sorry for microphone issues in this episode! Hopefully it doesn't totally ruin your experience! Next time we'll talk about a fondly loved movie, that actually celebrates its 25th anniversary this year - Matilda (1996). Ohana means family, family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten.
