    Dershowitz: I Want to See Democrats Lose House and Senate

    With the November 3rd midterms almost here, Rose Unplugged launches a special series: For Such a Time as This. And we open with one of the most recognized legal minds in America. Alan Dershowitz has been a Democrat since he was 14 years old. Now he says the party has thrown him out. In his new book, "Why I Quit the Dems and So Should You!" (Confessions of a Reluctant Republican), Allan explains how the party he served for decades became radical, anti-American, and anti-Israel, and why he couldn’t stay. He first left to become an independent. Then he realized that wasn’t enough. He wants to see the Democrats lose the House and Senate, because the party that controls Congress names every committee chairman, and he warns America will be in terrible shape if they take it. The cost has been personal. He’s been censored and banned across Martha’s Vineyard, the same place he first came nearly 60 years ago to defend Ted Kennedy. His wife, an accomplished PhD psychologist, was blackballed from a New York women’s club once members learned who her husband was. So much for “all inclusive.” Dershowitz also speaks candidly about the return of antisemitism, the window of relative calm that closed around 2000, and why Israel, one of the most successful nations in history at under 80 years old, is singled out like no other.     Newt Gingrich and Dr. Jim Garlow on the 2026 Midterms
