Car Organization That Actually Works (Even with Goldfish Crumbs Everywhere)

Hey mama, If your car looks more like a rolling snack station than a showroom… you’re in good company. 🙋‍♀️ I am not the Pinterest-perfect mom with colour-coded bins and perfectly labeled everything. I’m more of a “chaotically organized, on-the-run, please-let-there-be-coffee” kind of mom. But I do love when things have a place and function because even a busy working mom needs her sanity. So in this week’s episode of The Get Sh*t Done Podcast, I’m sharing practical, totally doable car organization tips that don’t require you to spend a fortune on fancy organizers (because I’m definitely not qualified to give a container-store shopping spree tutorial 😂). Here’s what you’ll hear inside this episode: ✅ Simple routines that keep your car functional without eating up your weekend✅ The “above survival line” approach to car organization (yes, there will still be goldfish crumbs and granola bar wrappers involved)✅ How to make your vehicle work for you instead of becoming another source of mom stress We’re talking livability here, not perfection because, let’s be real, that’s where most of us can actually maintain right now. 🎧 So buckle up, mama, and let’s make your car one less chaotic thing on your plate!!! -xo Brianne Want a little help getting started? You can download my free Get Sh*t Done Checklists. Summer throwing you off? These quick wins help.

Hey mama, You know that moment where you look around and think,“Okay, how did things get so off track?” Summer’s a vibeeeee, but it can also be a total routine-wrecker. Between vacation days, weird sleep schedules, and the kids asking for snacks literally every 12 minutes, it’s easy to feel behind on everything. That’s where this week’s Get Sh*t Done Podcast comes in. I’m sharing a few super simple productivity wins that you can pull out right now to feel a little more on top of your week even if you’ve let some routines slide (which, honestly, same 🙋‍♀️). Here’s what I’m walking you through this week on the podcast: ✅ Delegating again (yep, you can get the kids back into helping even if they’ve been off their chore game all summer. I’m gonna share a gamechanger phrase that may be the hack you need to get back into groove!)✅ My secret non-negotiable tool that EVERY family needs to start using… like yesterday!!✅ My own flexible planning method that doesn’t fall apart the minute your schedule shifts (because I got tired of planners that only worked for two days and then made me feel like I failed). These aren’t massive changes. They’re just little shifts that help you reset and move forward even if you’re still coming off camping trips, late bedtimes, and summer-mode everything. 🎧 So, mama! Grab your earbuds and listen while you fold the laundry, do dishes, or get a few quiet moments in the car. 💥 Tools I talked about in this episode: * My digital calendar: I got a special coupon for you to use for $20 off. Skylight Calendar helps me get the whole family organized with chore charts, meal planning, lists, and more. Get $20 off your calendar by using the following discount code: FRIEND-6ZKGDZD You can use this discount when purchasing a new Calendar here! * My Get Sh*t Done Planner that you can purchase here. 151 - How I Plan My Day in Blocks (Without Losing My Mind)

Hey mama, Let’s be honest waiting for motivation is like waiting for your toddler to offer to clean the bathroom. It’s… not coming. 😅 That’s why the second step in the Get Sh*t Done Method is all about timing, not mood. 🕒 The Second Step of My Get Sh*t Done Method: Plan Your Timing If you’re stuck doing everything and nothing all at once, this shift is gonna to feel like a breath of fresh air. 💡 Why Timing Works (Even When Motivation Doesn’t) You don’t need to “feel like it” to start, mama. You just need a plan that fits your actual day. Here’s how: * Break your day into natural blocks: like morning, midday, and evening. * Anchor tasks to real-life events (think: “15-minute tidy after lunch” instead of “clean the house”). * Use micro-blocks—15 to 30 minutes—for focused work. * And the secret weapon? A timer. Seriously. Setting a 10-minute timer tells your brain, “This won’t take forever,” which makes it easier to start (and finish). 🏡 What This Looks Like in My Life Morning block: Get dressed, get kids going, jump in the car and get to school!Midday block: Write down my top 3 priorities.Evening block: 15-minute family cleanup before bedtime. Nothing fancy. Just planned enough to keep things moving and flexible enough to bounce back when life throws chaos. And when my day goes off the rails (because it will), I just ask: “What’s one 10-minute thing I can still do today?” That tiny question has saved so many days. 🎧 Want the Full Breakdown? In this week’s podcast episode, I walk you through: * Why timing beats motivation every time * How to use micro-blocks without a rigid planner * What to do when your schedule falls apart * And how to build timing habits that stick 🎧 Go listen now! You’ll feel more in control by the end of it. 🎁 Need a tool to help?Grab my FREE Get Sh*t Done Checklists. They’ll walk you through this exact timing method with simple steps. 💬 Be sure to subscribe to grab them! Until next time…keep it simple, keep it doable, and remember:Progress over pressure.
