The Hidden Cost of Undercharging (and What to do about it!): Sustainable Pricing for Soulpreneurs

Are you undercharging in your soul-led business — and quietly paying the price for it? In this episode, I dive into a topic that keeps coming up with my clients: money, pricing, and the hidden cost of undercharging. If you’re a heart-centered woman solopreneur, you’ve likely struggled with charging appropriately, talking about money, or feeling fully confident in your value. In this conversation, we explore: Why so many women undercharge (conditioning, perfectionism, imposter syndrome, scarcity) The hidden costs of undercharging — burnout, resentment, misaligned clients, and quiet shame How pricing affects client commitment and transformation Red flags that you might be undercharging How to price sustainably (without guilt) Practical reframes and exercises to build confidence and charge from value What soulful, ethical selling actually looks like This episode is both mindset and strategy — because profit isn’t the opposite of purpose. It’s what allows your purpose to live. If you’re ready to build a sustainable business that supports you (instead of draining you), this one is for you. And if you want long-term support building the foundation of your business, including sustainable pricing- join me inside the Soul Profits Mastermind. We'll cover all of these topics and more in our 6 month journey together- with a sisterhood of women walking side-by-side with you. Apply here: https://jessparvin.com/mastermind/ We will also be covering this topic and more in an upcoming FREE Soulpreneur Circle: on the topic of Self-Abandonment March 24 @ 4:00 pm CST // Register here: https://jessparvin.com/soulpreneur-circle/

Spinning Your Wheels in Your Soul Business? Here’s Your Step-by-Step 6-Month Plan to Profit and Sustainability

In this solo episode, I’m speaking directly to the midlife woman who knows she’s meant for more — who has the skills, the experience, and the vision for a soul-led business… but feels like she’s spinning her wheels. Maybe you’ve taken ALL the courses. Tweaked your website 17 times. Built offers. Started and stopped. Stayed “busy” — but not consistently profitable. If that’s you, I want you to hear this: there is nothing wrong with you. In this episode, I walk you step-by-step through the exact roadmap I would follow if I were starting (or rebooting) my business today. We cover: Why “busy but not profitable” happens — and how perfectionism keeps you stuck The power of true niche clarity (and why serving everyone kills momentum) How to refine your messaging so it’s clear, grounded, and free of spiritual jargon Designing aligned, sustainable offers (not just listing your modalities) Reframing marketing and visibility as acts of service Soulful selling, ethical enrollment, and learning to talk about money with confidence Pricing in a way that creates real value exchange Building simple systems, tech, and support so your business can actually grow Finding your unique marketing rhythm instead of following cookie-cutter formulas This isn’t about hustle culture. And it’s not about overnight success. It’s about consistent, aligned action — supported by community, strategy, and inner work — so your business can become both purposeful and profitable. If you’re ready to stop circling your vision and actually build it, applications are now open for Soul Profits Mastermind, my 6-month group experience for midlife women creating soul-aligned, sustainable businesses. You can apply through the website (below), or book a free clarity call to explore whether it’s the right fit for you. Embracing the Energy of 2026: Reflecting and Preparing for Transformation

This isn’t just another New Year pep talk. It’s your sacred permission slip for the pause before the pivot. If you’re starting 2026 feeling oddly unmotivated — like something big is coming but you can’t quite touch it yet — this episode is for you. We’re talking about the real start of the year (spoiler: it’s February), why this moment feels like spiritual limbo, and how to work with this window instead of fighting it. You’re not behind. You’re right on time. 🕰️ Here’s what we get into:✨ Why January is more like a cosmic integration zone than a “go-getter” starting line✨ Why February marks the real energetic shift (thank you, Fire Horse year + Saturn + Neptune in Aries)✨ The deeper cycles: closing out a 9-year chapter, opening a new one (we talk astrology, numerology, Human Design, and even the Mayan calendar)✨ Reflective prompts + practical soul work to do now (including where your energy is leaking + how to reconnect to your “big why”)✨ And why the next era of success is rooted in authenticity—not hustle Ready to launch or pivot your soul-driven business — but craving structure, clarity, and a real community?I mention the upcoming round of my group Mastermind for midlife women in purpose-business pivots.Think high-touch strategy, Human Design & Astrology tools, plus the kind of community that actually gets your level of ambition and self-work.For all the details (or to apply): https://jessparvin.com/mastermind I also mention Journal through January- a free group session every Sunday in January! From TV to Transformation: Letting Go of Perfectionism and Building an Authentic Brand, with Kalinda Kano

In this episode, I’m joined by Kalinda Kano, a multi-passionate guide based in Mexico City who supports women in stepping off autopilot and relating to themselves with greater awareness, clarity, and presence. With a background in television and extensive training in therapeutic, somatic, and spiritual modalities, Kalinda creates spaces—through 1:1 work, retreats, courses, and workshops—where deep self-understanding leads to real, embodied change. Kalinda shares her entrepreneurial journey, beginning with being “discovered” at 19 and building a long, outwardly successful career in TV, followed by burnout and a pivotal decision to walk away and reimagine her life and work. We talk about how she slowly rebuilt her business by listening to both her intuition and her audience—starting with yoga classes, moving into tarot and courses, and eventually landing in deeply transformational 1:1 coaching. We also explore the identity shift she’s experienced over the past year and how that has reshaped her brand, offers, and online presence. As a client of mine, we touch on what our work together looked like and why she feels more aligned with her work now! In this episode, we also discuss: Writing a book during the pandemic and what that process revealedWhat to do when you don’t know your next step—and how asking your audience can helpGrowing a large, engaged social media presence organicallyBreaking the perfectionism and over-planning cycleHow social media (especially Instagram) has changed over the past decadeBuilding a teaching business through trial and error, without focusing on what anyone else is doingStaying committed to a long-term vision, even when it takes longer than expectedWhat investing in her business has looked like and why that’s essential to long-term success Find Kalinda on her website: KalindaKano.com on Instagram @KalindaKano and TikTok @KalindaKano

Josh and I are collaborating on a new transformational travel experience, the Soulfull Sabbatical in Guatemala next February, and in this episode we dive into the inspiration behind it. We also explore Josh’s unique “soulpreneur” journey as a lifelong musician who has been performing since the age of five.
