    EP4: "I'd light a room on fire!" Gareth Dakin, Videographer, talks about growing up on a council estate & it's impact on his ADHD.

    In this episode, Alex talks with Gareth Dakin, a professional filmmaker, photographer and all round creative. He identifies with being oversensitive, hyperactive and all or nothing. He’s always 15 minutes away and it’s what he struggles with the most and uses to propel his ambitions. He’s also an avid runner and a climber and a fan of anything that’s right here and right now! The brain, our brains, is his biggest interest right now and enjoys reading and listening to experts talking about it. We will then be joined by his business partner Toby Trimble, Assistant Professor of Anaesthesia and Analgesia at the University of Nottingham School of Veterinary Medicine and Science.     In this episode, Alex talks with Stefan Viggiani, 43, Father of two. He was raised in L.A. in the 80s and diagnosed with ADD at the age of 9. After a traumatic switch from the Valley to a British Public School he moved from job to job around London before finally settling on Teaching, where he is now an Assistant Principal at a Large Comprehensive School in London. When he is not leaving bathroom windows open or forgetting lunch boxes, he enjoys running, cooking and music everyone else in the house doesn't. Half way though the interview, we welcome his eldest son, Massimo, 9 years old. Diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 7. Describes himself as "Movenable".     In this episode, Alex talks with Carly Minsky, a journalist and writer focusing on technology and science. She's written for the likes of Financial Times, Sifted, Vice and Metro. She's a twin, a besotted owner of rescue dog Teddy and a serial hobbyist. She considers herself to be neurodivergent, having been diagnosed with ADHD in her early twenties. Half way though the interview, Carly introduces her partner, Josh Moritz, an integrative psychotherapist and counsellor working in private practice.     EP1: “Creating order to deal with the chaos in my head” Sarah Bickers, Professional Organiser, talks about organising spaces to manage her ADHD Symptoms.

    In this episode, Alex talks with Professional Organiser, Sarah Bickers and her colleague Caroline Rogers. A busy mum of three and running a successful organising and decluttering business, it took Sarah over 50 years to realise she has ADHD. Sarah was one of six children growing up in a rather chaotic and messy home life. As a result she was always drawn towards order and a simpler life. She starter her career as a physiotherapist specialising in neurology- she’s always been interested in how the brain works! She later trained as Professional Organiser working mainly with ADHD clients and training other Professional Organisers to be more ADHD-friendly. Sarah and Caroline both started their organising businesses around the same time, meeting through the Association of Professional Declutters and Organisers (APDO). They first met over coffee at the APDO conference in 2014 and made an instant connection, deciding to become business accountability partners. Caroline also came from a rather chaotic home life. She’s a positive psychology researcher and practitioner, providing professional organising services, coaching, mentoring and training. She has a particular emphasis and interest in wellbeing and is training to be a meditation teacher.
