    S1 E8. Why we continually set goals and not achieve them. I share my framework to achieve your dream life without burnout here.

    We set these major goals and checkmarks in our life and then go out and try to achieve them all at once and then fail almost instantly or just don't even take the steps forward because it is too overwhelming. Why do we do this over and over again... Our life has these up periods where we feel more motivated to achieve and plan and make progress. So then we try to “fix” all the areas of our life at once. Which is not realistic. So then when we fail or don't move forward from feeling overwhelmed we get more frustrated or disheartened because we are still exactly where we started! So then we give up because it’s so heavy and so big and so far away. In this podcast episode, I chat about why we aren't moving forward in our life and share with you my framework that I apply to the areas of my life where I am wanting to grow.     S1 E7. Time blocking doesn't work for Mums 🙅‍♀️ How I've changed the way I work since becoming a Mum

    I have seen a few posts on social media this past week of people saying that you NEED to block out 2 hours every morning for your morning routine if you want to have a successful business. And to be honest that concept is so unrelatable and unsustainable if you are a mum. Because you know what I am doing for the first two hours of my morning- I am feeding my kid, changing him, getting him ready for the day and playing with him. And that doesn't mean I can't have a successful business. If you can't do that as a mum, then you are going to feel like a failure and like you can't grow a successful business because you can't time block out your day or your week. In this episode, I talk all about what I used to do in my business before becoming a mum and why that doesn't work anymore. And what I actually do now so that I can do both motherhood and business together with less overwhelm.     S1 E5. How I do business when I am feeling unmotivated and overwhelmed 😩

    One of the biggest problems with the online world right now is that we are building businesses that are impossible to sustain in all aspects of life. We put so much pressure on ourselves to always be 'ON' and energetic and showing up for our business because that is what we are being told we have to do to have a successful business. But what happens when you are feeling unmotivated about working on your business... and that leads to you feeling overwhelmed from all the things you want to do in your business, that you actually don't end up doing anything 😬 I unpack all of this in today's podcast episode. I literally recorded this on a day that I was feeling exactly these feelings to lead by example of how we can show up exactly as we are, rather then trying to squish ourselves into that box we feel we should.
