At launch, we promised our podcast listeners that we'd "talk about it all" and then took 25 episodes to tiptoe into a conversation about SEX.

We love retreats!  We lead them, we take them, we dream them up in our waking hours and in our sleep.  We've been hosting them together for a long time and we've learned so much over the years.

How women NEED retreat.  How everyone is transformed, no matter what.  How traveling to touristy, "best" destinations with other yogis really isn't the ideal anymore, rather a beautiful spot to settle into and rest does the body and soul good.  How once per year is not enough.

Susan will tell you that retreat is your birthright and also your responsibility.  It is a proven way to rebalance, restore, reclaim and remember the essence of who you really are.  And THAT woman...that who-you-really-are woman...is what the world needs now.

We hope you will be intrigued and inspired to join us on retreat soon.  Our January retreat to Old Field Point on the Elk River in Maryland is full; but we are on the cusp of announcing the rest of the 2024 schedule!

Liz lives in Portugal, but visits the US often to be with family and care for her dad; so we get to enjoy her company at ocean earth wind fire on a regular basis and she always brings an authentic and globally aware perspective that refreshes the soul.

*Mermaid Mentoring is a therapeutic writing program aimed at empowering women through self-reflection and authentic self-expression.   Liz says: 

"I want to help them reclaim their stories and own truthful experience of life, both the mess and the miracle of it. I want to inspire women to create lives that reflect their true selves rather than let the circumstances of their lives shape who they become. I want them to know they don't need to live up to anyone's expectations for what their lives should be—not even their own. And finally, I want them to know it's never too late nor is it selfish to pursue a dream or a passion just for the sheer joy of it."
