    Singleness Has Quadrupled: Here's What The Church Is Missing

    100 years ago, the average person had 5 years of adult singleness. Today? It's 19. Chris pastors City Church in Cincinnati, and he's been quietly wrestling with something most churches won't touch: what do we actually do with singleness?     What is the Church Ep. 4: The Ephesians 4 Church Growth Plan

    There has been a HUGE "church growth" movement in my lifetime, but almost no one talks about the fact that Paul laid out a growth plan for us IN THE BIBLE. The methods of growth the last few decades have really focused on prioritizing one of the gifts or equippers Paul lists in Ephesians at the expense of all the rest and I have to say, guys, it's creating very one-dimensional churches.     Is there actually one right way to do church? As Protestants, we may not always say we believe there’s “one true church”...but sometimes we still act like there’s one right set of traditions, one right structure, or one right way to worship. So how do we know which traditions to follow? What did Jesus mean when He talked about new wine and new wineskins? And what do Paul’s words about apostles, traditions, and “master builders” tell us about how churches should actually be formed?     The 3 Plymouth Brethren Lessons That Shaped My Spiritual DNA

    My family and I spend a lot of time at Lakeside Bible Camp in Washington. I grew up coming here in the summers, and it's a big part of my own spiritual DNA, having been founded by a group of Plymouth Brethren assemblies. It's that spiritual DNA that I'll be talking about in this episode, and it's something I want to challenge you to consider in your own life. Whether the DNA has shaped your life directly or indirectly (we don't attend a Plymouth Brethren assembly, for example), there are things that have happened along the way that make your faith what it is, and make you who you are.     What is the Church? Ep 2: How Acts Describes the Church

    What kind of church did Jesus envision?
