NARRATE : The Ass & His Burdens

Hello everyone welcome to My Podcast Today i will tell you a story from Aesop's Fables, but before that i will review about a movie that i have watched before. The movie is The Adventures Of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn. The Adventure of Tintin tells the story of a young journalist from Brussels named Tintin who is always challenged to overcome difficulties. While shopping at an outdoor market, young reporter Tintin, accompanied by his faithful dog, Snowy, buys a model of an old ship called the Unicorn. A shady character named Sakharine and later an American named Barnaby try to buy the model from him, but Tintin refuses. The lad discovers that the ship contains a clue about a hidden treasure, but before he can locate it, Tintin is kidnapped and given over to the custody of drunken Captain Haddock. And now i will tell you one of the story from Aesop's Fables. The title is The Ass & His Burdens. A Pedlar who owned an Ass one day bought a quantity of salt, and loaded up his beast with as much as he could bear. On the way home the Ass stumbled as he was crossing a stream and fell into the water. The salt got thoroughly wetted and much of it melted and drained away, so that, when he got on his legs again, the Ass found his load had become much less heavy. His master, however, drove him back to town and bought more salt, which he added to what remained in the panniers, and started out again. No sooner had they reached a stream than the Ass lay down in it, and rose, as before, with a much lighter load. But his master detected the trick, and turning back once more, bought a large number of sponges, and piled them on the back of the Ass. When they came to the stream the Ass again lay down: but this time, as the sponges soaked up large quantities of water, he found, when he got up on his legs, that he had a bigger burden to carry than ever. The moral of this story is "You may play a good card once too often". That's all for today. Thank you for listening and see you on my next podcast.

  2. SING SONG : Alec Benjamin and Naomi Scott

SING SONG : Alec Benjamin and Naomi Scott

Hello everyone welcome to MY Podcast! Today I'm gonna sing two songs. The First Song is Mind Is A Prison By Alec Benjamin. I don't live in California I'll inform you, that's not where I reside I'm just a tenant payin' rent inside this body and I... Got two windows And those windows, well, I call them my eyes I'm just goin' where the wind blows I don't get to decide Sometimes I think too much Yeah, I get so caught up I'm always stuck in my head I wish I could escape I tried to yesterday Took all the sheets off my bed Then I tied up my linen With five strips of ribbon I found Scaled the side of the buildin' I ran to the hills 'til they found me And they put me back in my cell All by myself Alone with my thoughts again Guess my mind is a prison And I'm never gonna get out And now lets talk about the song. In this song Alec sings about being stuck in his head with his thoughts.  In this song, Alec Benjamin is able to visualize himself inside in his head. He sees his physical body as a mere carcass for carrying the real ‘him’ inside. What makes a person who he is, is really the map of his mind. Exploring your own mind can be fun. But to see it as a prison, is quite the disaster. My experience after singing this song is that this song is very related to life. How sometimes we think too much without doing. Our minds are like imprisoning us. It's kinda sad experience to me. Feeling empty and lonely. The next song is Speechless by Naomi Scott. Here comes a wave Meant to wash me away A tide that is taking me under Swallowing sand Left with nothing to say My voice drowned out in the thunder But I won't cry And I won't start to crumble Whenever they try To shut me or cut me down I won't be silenced You can't keep me quiet Won't tremble when you try it All I know is I won't go speechless 'Cause I'll breathe When they try to suffocate me Don't you underestimate me 'Cause I know that I won't go speechless And now lets talk about the song. This song is about female empowerment. It tells the story of Princess Jasmine who is detained by the new sultan of Agrabah, Jafar. The sultan is a dictator who belittles Princess Jasmine's opinion. This time Princess Jasmine decided not to remain silent and chose to be honest about her thoughts and opinions. She would not allow her kingdom to be taken over by someone like Jafar. My experience after singing this song is that I can't stop singing. This song is very strong in terms of music, lyrics, meaning, tone of voice, singer and the story behind it. I can feel the confidence, the spirit to get up and not give up on fate. This song is very addictive and easy listening.

Good morning, viewers. You’re watching ATV News with me, Mufidah Yumna. The first news is New species of dinosaur with ‘unusually large’ nose discovered. A new species of dinosaur with an unusually large nose has been identified by a retired general practitioner in the UK who spent lockdown rummaging through boxes of hundreds of old bones. Jeremy Lockwood, who is studying for a PhD at the University of Portsmouth, set himself the task of cataloguing every iguanodon bone discovered on the Isle of Wight. As the 64 year old from Chale, near Ventnor, Isle of Wight, sorted the bones from the collections of the Natural History Museum in London and the Dinosaur Isle Museum, he discovered the unique “bulbous” nasal bone. Dr Lockwood, who studies in the school of environment, geography and geoscience, said: “For over 100 years, we’d only seen two types of dinosaur on the Isle of Wight – the plant-eating Iguanodon bernissartensis and Mantellisaurus atherfieldensis. “I was convinced that subtle differences between bones would reveal a new species, so I set out to measure, photograph and study the anatomy of each bone. “My background is medicine, so I’ve studied anatomy and was always struck by the fact that the bones we find in humans all look exactly the same. “I’ve seen dinosaur bones that are reportedly from the same species, but I’ve been baffled as to why they would look so different. “Last year during lockdown, after four years of going through boxes and boxes of bones, I decided to reconstruct the skull of a specimen, which had been in storage since 1978, and to my astonishment I noticed the end of its nose was bulbous. “This discovery made it one of the happiest days of lockdown because it was a sign there really was something different about this particular dinosaur from the Isle of Wight.” Dr Lockwood, working with Prof Dave Martill from the University of Portsmouth and Dr Susannah Maidment from the Natural History Museum, has now named the new species Brighstoneus simmondsi, for a study published in the Journal of Systematic Palaeontology. Brighstoneus is named after the village of Brighstone on the Isle of Wight, which is close to the excavation site. The latter part of the name is in honour of Keith Simmonds, an amateur collector, who was involved in finding and excavating the specimen. – PA The second news is Scientists reverse paralysis in mice, seek human trials. SAMUEL I. STUPP, NORTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, SAYING: "Spinal cord injury has been a major challenge for science for decades.” Scientists at Northwestern University say they may have found a breakthrough treatment for reversing paralysis in humans after successfully administering a new injectable therapy in mice. “The central nervous system, which includes the brain and the spinal cord, which sends messages between your brain and the rest of your body, has very limited capacity to repair after injury. ”In a new study, the team describes an injection of “dancing molecules” to reverse paralysis in mice and repair tissues after severe spinal cord injuries. Just four weeks after the injection, the injured animals regained the ability to walk. Samuel I. Stupp leads the research. "This is probably the most important paper I have ever written. And it describes a piece of science that was truly unknown." The new breakthrough therapeutic is injected as a liquid directly into the spine. It influences the motion of molecules, in effect, making them ‘dance’, so they can more easily engage— read more in this link : https://news.yahoo.com/scientists-reverse-paralysis-mice-seek-183451672.html

Hello Everyone! Welcome to MY Podcast.. A : Have you heard the latest news about BTS? B : What news? Was it about yesterday's award ceremony? AMAs? A : Yes. Did you watch the whole ceremony? B : Unfortunately no, because I had a lot of work yesterday. Even so, I'm glad that after 4 years they finally won the Artist Of The Year nomination. A : Yeah.. They really deserve it. They have worked hard all this time. They also performed very well. B : This is BTS' first stage after almost 2 years of not performing live in front of the audience. You know, because of the pandemic, they had to postpone their world tour. A : I'm happy for them as well as their fans, finally they can see and interact directly. That day was also the first stage of BTS' collaboration with Coldplay. I was amazed by the energy and atmosphere of the audience in the hall. B : Yeah.. Me too. I am very proud and touched by their struggle. BTS comes from an overlooked underdog K-pop group into a group that sings Korean with Coldplay. Truly extraordinary!! A : Truly an amazing miracle. They are now the biggest boy band in the world. B : I can't say anything anymore. I'm just happy and proud. A : By the way, are you going to watch BTS' online concert on December 3rd? 5. NARRATE : The Eagle & the Beetle

NARRATE : The Eagle & the Beetle

Hello Everyone! Welcome to MY Podcast Today i'm gonna tell you a story from Aesop's Fables. Today story is about The Eagle and the Beetle. But before that I want to review briefly about a cartoon movie called "Up". This movie tells a story of an old man named Carl Fredicksen who wants to make one of his late wife Elli's dreams come true for an adventure to a waterfall called Paradise Falls. To make this happen, Fredicksen flew his house using thousands of balloons to Paradise Falls. However, he doesn't realize that an adventurous boy named Russell is at his house. Finally, Fredicksen goes on an adventure with Russell, a tall and colorful bird named Kevin and a talking Golden Retriever named Dug. And now i will tell you a story about "The Eagle and the Beetle". An Eagle was chasing a hare, which was running for dear life and was at her wits' end to know where to turn for help. Presently she espied a Beetle, and begged it to aid her. So when the Eagle came up the Beetle warned her not to touch the hare, which was under its protection. But the Eagle never noticed the Beetle because it was so small, seized the hare and ate her up. The Beetle never forgot this, and used to keep an eye on the Eagle's nest, and whenever the Eagle laid an egg it climbed up and rolled it out of the nest and broke it. At last the Eagle got so worried over the loss of her eggs that she went up to Jupiter, who is the special protector of Eagles, and begged him to give her a safe place to nest in: so he let her lay her eggs in his lap. But the Beetle noticed this and made a ball of dirt the size of an Eagle's egg, and flew up and deposited it in Jupiter's lap. When Jupiter saw the dirt, he stood up to shake it out of his robe, and, forgetting about the eggs, he shook them out too, and they were broken just as before. Ever since then, they say, Eagles never lay their eggs at the season when Beetles are about. The moral of this story is "The weak will sometimes find ways to avenge an insult, even upon the strong". That's all for today, thank you for listening and see you on my next podcast.

SING SONG : Alec Benjamin and Nightbirde

Hello everyone! Welcome to MY Podcast. Today i'm gonna sing two song. The first song is Let Me Down Slowly by Alec Benjamin. "This night is cold in the kingdom I can feel you fade away From the kitchen to the bathroom sink and Your steps keep me awake Don't cut me down, throw me out, leave me here to waste I once was a man with dignity and grace Now I'm slippin' through the cracks of your cold embrace So please, please Could you find a way to let me down slowly? A little sympathy, I hope you can show me If you wanna go then I'll be so lonely If you're leavin', baby, let me down slowly Let me down, down, let me down, down, let me down Let me down, down, let me down, down, let me down If you wanna go then I'll be so lonely If you're leavin', baby, let me down slowly" And now let's talk about this song. This song is a story of heartbreak. In this song, Alec is talking about a moment of his life with his ex-girlfriend. Alec describes how gloomy and sad when his heart is broken. How hard it is to let go and be disappointed in someone you love. The warm feeling of love turned cold. And finally all that's left is a feeling of disappointment and loneliness. My experience after singing this song is I feel that the melody of this song is very beautiful. The beginning of the song is very good and the whole song is very easy listening. I really like how Alec described his heartbreak at that time. I could feel his emotion and helplessness in his tone and lyrics. The second song is IT'S OK by Nightbirde. And here we go~ "I moved to California in the summer time I changed my name thinking that it would change my mind I thought that all my problems they would stay behind I was a stick of dynamite and it was just a matter of time, yeah All day, all night, now I can't hide Said I knew myself but I guess I lied It's okay, it's okay, it's okay, it's okay If you're lost, we're all a little lost and it's alright It's okay, it's okay, it's okay, it's okay If you're lost, we're all a little lost and it's alright It's alright, it's alright, it's alright, it's alright" And now let's talk about the song. This song is a feel-good banger narrating Nightbirde journey to healing. Innumerable tumors were found in her body on New Year’s Eve 2019, and days after the diagnosis, she was faced with an explosive divorce, a global pandemic, and a 2,000-mile leap of faith across the country from Nashville to Los Angeles. Doctors anticipated that she would die by June, but she persisted. In this song she wrote her story of going to California in the summer to healing. She said that, some times it's okay to be lost. My experience after singing this song I can feel sad emotions from the tone and lyrics. When I first heard it, I was in a pitiful condition and this song really fits and describes how I feel. When I found out the story behind this song I couldn't hold back my tears. After that, I became motivated and finally recovered from the slump. I realized that it's okay to be lost sometimes. That's all for today, thank you for listening and see you on my next podcast.

Hello everyone!! I am Mufidah. Today i wil practice my speaking and pronunciation through reading a news. Good evening, viewers. You're watching CTC News with me, Mufidah Yumna. Today news is WHO warns pandemic will drag on deep into 2022. Covid has severely affected healthcare staff and may have killed between 80,000 and 180,000, the World Health Organization (WHO) says. Healthcare workers must be prioritised for vaccines, WHO head Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said, and he criticised unfairness in the distribution of jabs. The deaths occurred between January 2020 and May of this year. Earlier, another senior WHO official warned a lack of jabs could see the pandemic continue well into next year. There are an estimated 135 million healthcare workers globally. "Data from 119 countries suggest that on average, two in five healthcare workers globally are fully vaccinated," Dr Tedros said. "But of course, that average masks huge differences across regions and economic groupings." Fewer than one in 10 healthcare workers were fully vaccinated in Africa, he said, compared with eight in 10 in high-income countries. A failure to provide poorer countries with enough vaccines was highlighted earlier by Dr Bruce Aylward, a senior leader at the WHO, who said it meant the Covid crisis could "easily drag on deep into 2022". Less than 5% of Africa's population have been vaccinated, compared with 40% on most other continents. The vast majority of Covid vaccines overall have been used in high-income or upper middle-income countries. Africa accounts for just 2.6% of doses administered globally. Let's move on to the next news. Sudan coup: Military dissolves civilian government and arrests leaders.A coup is under way in Sudan, where the military has dissolved civilian rule, arrested political leaders and declared a state of emergency. The coup leader, Gen Abdel Fattah Burhan, blamed political infighting. Protests have erupted in several cities including the capital Khartoum. Three people are said to have died after being shot by the armed forces. Military and civilian leaders have been at odds since long-time ruler Omar al-Bashir was overthrown two years ago. Large numbers of protesters are on the streets of the capital demanding the return of civilian rule, BBC Arabic's Mohamed Osman reports from Khartoum. More protesters are expected to join the crowds after calls for action by political parties and professional unions, our correspondent says. Doctors have refused to work at hospitals and institutions under military rule, except in emergencies, he adds. One demonstrator, Sawsan Bashir, told AFP news agency: "We will not leave the streets until the civilian government is back and the transition is back." "We are ready to give our lives for the democratic transition in Sudan," fellow protester Haitham Mohamed said. Army and paramilitary troops have been deployed across Khartoum, the city's airport is closed and international flights are suspended. The internet is also down. At least three people have been killed and 80 have been injured, the Sudan Central Doctor's Committee wrote on its Facebook page. Those who died had been shot by soldiers, it said. Video footage from Khartoum on Monday showed large groups in the streets, including many women. Barricades of burning tyres can be seen, with plumes of black smoke rising in various parts of the city."There is tension and also violence because people tried to go to the army headquarters… they were met with gunshots", human rights defender Duaa Tariq told the BBC. She added there was fear and confusion in the streets, but also solidarity between the protesters. And that was the news for this evening. I am Mufidah Yumna, good evening and see you. Alright. That's all from me, thank you for listening and see you on my next podcast.
