Husker Bye Week: Did it beat us??

Nebraska Football recap: the Big Red Junkies break down the gut-punch loss at Oregon and what it means for the Huskers heading into the bye week stretch run. NEW FAN HUB: https://brj-hub.web.app/ We get into why Jamal Rule's injury gutted the run game, whether Dana's play-calling got too conservative with the lead, and if Rob Orich's defense deserves zero blame for that brutal fourth quarter. Plus Scott Frost, Northwestern's hot start, Iowa and Minnesota, and our win total for the rest of Matt Rhule's season. Nebraska vs Indiana RECAP: Huskers Show They Belong in Heartbreaking Loss

Nebraska Football dropped a gut-punch of a game to unbeaten, defending national champion Indiana, and the Big Red Junkies are back with the full recap, reaction, and what this game actually means for the Huskers moving forward. NEW FAN HUB: https://brj-hub.web.app/ We break down the fourth-and-nine decision that still has fans split, why Matt Rule said he should've called timeout on that back-breaking fourth down play, and why Anthony Calandria's performance on third down (and his legs) kept drives alive all afternoon. Jamal Rule gets love for his physical downhill running, true freshman Dylan Berryman flashes in limited snaps, and Owen Chambliss and Owen Stoudmire anchor a defensive front that held Indiana's nation-leading rushing attack to just 65 yards. We also get into Isaiah Hunter's role in Dana's offense, Kurt Signetti's gameplan adjustments at halftime, and why this loss feels completely different from the last decade of Nebraska getting blown out by ranked teams. Plus a mailbag question on whether the Huskers are mentally cursed against ranked opponents, PFF grades, and this week's prop bet results. 00:00 Intro: Sunburned and Hyped 03:04 The Crowd Was Electric 04:41 The Fourth and Nine Debate 09:13 "You're Dumb": The Perspective Argument 14:32 Dana's Play Calling Breakdown 19:58 Rule Explains the Fourth Down Timeout 24:18 Defense Shuts Down Indiana's Run Game 36:21 Mailbag, PFF Grades and Props If you enjoyed this episode, please Like and Subscribe! #gbr #huskers #nebraska #cfb #b1g Learn more about your ad choices. Nebraska vs Indiana PREVIEW: Battle of the Unbeatens

Nebraska football gets its biggest test yet as the Huskers host No. 7 Indiana in a battle of unbeaten teams this Saturday in Lincoln, and the advanced stats, including SP+ rankings, say this one's a true toss-up heading into Big Noon Kickoff on FOX. NEW FAN HUB: https://brj-hub.web.app/ BJ, Matt, and Jed dig into why the analytics have this game way closer than anyone expected back in August, from Josh Hoover cleaning up his turnovers to Turbo Richard's absurd chunk-run numbers out of the backfield. They talk about what Anthony Calandria, Jamal Rule, and the offensive line need to do to keep Calandria upright, and where Owen Chambliss, Andrew Marshall, and the Husker secondary can attack Charlie Becker and Nick Marsh. They break down Indiana's nasty defensive front led by Toby Asunsanmi and Mario Landino, debate whether Jacory Barney and Isaiah Hunter can finally get going downfield, and talk about Dawson Merritt's role behind Chambliss at linebacker. They also compare Matt Rhule's staff to Curt Cignetti's group, run through a full board of prop bets, and give their real picks against the spread for Saturday's Big Noon Kickoff on FOX. Nebraska Rolls to 3-0 After Beating North Dakota 34-7

Nebraska Football improves to 3-0 after a 34-7 win over North Dakota, and the Big Red Junkies break down why this defense looked more in control than in either of the first two games. We also dig into Rob Ochoa's defense flying to the ball, argue about whether the running back room with Rule, Calandria and Nwuli is the best Nebraska's had since the 2012 Pelini-era trio of Ameer Abdullah, Rex Burkhead and Braylen Heard, and answer a loaded mailbag on completion percentage targets, running back workload management, and whether Nebraska is saving Rule for Big Ten play. Then we run through the prop bet results from last week and set the standings for our prediction hub before Nebraska heads into conference play against Michigan State. 00:00 Intro 01:24 Recap: 34-7 Win Over North Dakota 05:39 Offense and Defense Breakdown 10:20 Game Balls: Rule, Van Poppel and More 16:44 Mailbag: Running Backs and QB Play 28:10 Props Recap and Standings If you enjoyed this episode, please Like and Subscribe! #gbr #huskers #nebraska #cfb #b1g Learn more about your ad choices.
