"Thyatira: A Church With Divided Loyalties (Rev 2:18-29)" Pastor Jeff Jantzi, Oct 4 2026

What happens when following Jesus begins to cost us something? The Christians in Thyatira were part of a loving, faithful, and growing church. But they also lived in a world where work, relationships, social connections, and religious expectations were deeply intertwined. And under pressure, some had begun to believe that compromise was simply part of getting by. So, what do we do when faithfulness to Jesus threatens something we value — our security, our relationships, our reputation, or even our livelihood? And where might divided loyalties be taking root in our own hearts?

"Pergamum: When Tolerance Leads to Compromise (Rev 2:12-17)" Pastor Jeff Jantzi, Sept 27, 2026

What happens when tolerance begins to lead us into compromise? The Christians in Pergamum lived in a city filled with competing loyalties, beliefs, and pressures. They had demonstrated remarkable courage and remained faithful to Jesus even when it cost them dearly. And yet, somewhere along the way, they had also begun tolerating ideas and practices that were slowly pulling them away from him.So, how can we remain gracious and loving toward the people around us without allowing the values of the culture around us to reshape our faithfulness to Jesus? (This teaching by Jeff Jantzi is from our Sunday Gathering on Sunday September 27, 2026.)

"Smyrna: Faithful Under Pressure (Revelation 2:8-11)" Dear Church, Week 2, (Pastor Jeff Jantzi, Sept 20, 2026)

What happens when following Jesus begins to cost you something? The church in Smyrna knew what it meant to live under pressure. In a city fiercely loyal to Rome, their allegiance to Jesus brought suffering, opposition, and significant loss. Yet in the middle of it all, Jesus spoke a word they desperately needed to hear.  What might it look like for us to remain faithful to Jesus when we find ourselves under pressure? This Sunday, Pastor Jeff teaches on the second letter in Revelation (Revelation 2:8–11) and considered what the experience of this ancient church might have to say to those seeking to follow Jesus faithfully today.

"Ephesus: When Love Grows Cold" Pastor Jeff Jantzi, Sunday Sept 13, 2026

Can a church believe all the right things, do all the right things — and still be missing something essential? This Sunday we begin our new fall teaching series, "Dear Church: The Seven Letters of Revelation", starting with Jesus’ letter to the church in Ephesus in Revelation 2:1–7. Ephesus was a strong, established church with an impressive history — a church that knew the Scriptures, cared deeply about truth, and had remained faithful through difficult circumstances. And yet, when Jesus looked closely at this church, he saw something that deeply concerned him. In a message called “When Love Grows Cold,” we’ll listen to what Jesus said to the church in Ephesus and consider what his words might mean for us today.

"Contending for the Faith" The Book of Jude, Pastor Jeff Jantzi (Aug 30, 2026)

In this short but urgent letter, Jude sounds the alarm about a danger that can quietly poison the life of the church: distorted grace. It is the kind of false teaching that sounds Christian, but turns God’s marvellous grace into permission to live however we want. Jude calls the church to contend for the faith — not as angry people looking for a fight, but as beloved people who belong to Jesus. Because the grace of God in Christ does not leave us breathing in poison and call it freedom. It forgives, heals, transforms, and brings us under the loving lordship of Jesus. This Sunday (Aug 30, 2026), as Pastor Jeff returns from vacation, we’ll listen together to what God might have to say to us through this challenging and deeply relevant little letter — and consider what it means to faithfully contend for the faith in our own time.

"The Ongoing Work of Restoration" (Nehemiah 8-13), Pastor Jeff Jantzi, July 19 2026

What if God’s restoring work isn’t finished when things look better on the outside? In Nehemiah 8–13, the wall has been rebuilt, the city is secure, and restoration seems complete. But God’s work goes deeper. He restores his people through his Word, leads them from repentance into joy, reshapes their everyday lives, and points them to Jesus — our great Restorer. This Sunday, as we conclude our series "After the Ruin", we’ll see that after the ruin, God doesn’t just rebuild what’s broken around us — he continues restoring what’s broken within us.

July 12, 2026: "After The Ruin: Rebuilding What Is Broken (Nehemiah 1-7)", Pastor Jeff Jantzi

What do you do when something is broken, the problem feels bigger than you, and you have no clue where to start? In Nehemiah 1–7, Jerusalem’s temple has been rebuilt and worship has resumed, but the city is still vulnerable. The walls are broken down. The gates are burned. And God’s people are still living in the shadow of what has been lost. This Sunday (in the dance studio), Pastor Jeff continued our series "After the Ruin" by looking at how God begins to rebuild what is broken — not only by restoring walls, but by restoring his people.Where might God be giving you a burden for restoration? And how might he be inviting you to depend on him, join him, and remember who you are in him?

  8. Jun 21

    220. June 21, 2025: "After The Ruin: When God Rebuilds His People (Ezra 7-10)", Pastor Jeff Jantzi

What if the thing God most wants to rebuild in your life is not the thing everyone else can see? In Ezra 7–10, the temple has been rebuilt, worship has resumed, and things look better on the surface. But as Ezra arrives in Jerusalem, it becomes clear that God’s rebuilding work is going deeper. This Sunday, we continue our series After the Ruin by asking where God may be inviting us into a deeper kind of restoration — not just around us, but within us. Where might God be wanting to rebuild something beneath the surface in you?
