    Biblical Thanksgiving (Part 5)

In this episode, we will consider the fifth and final Thanksgiving message that was recently presented to the congregation of Trinity Bible Church. Since this was a Sunday morning sermon it is a bit longer than the others, but I pray it will serve us well as we consider a biblical ‘Theology of Thanksgiving’ from Colossians 3…

    Biblical Thanksgiving (Part 4)

In this episode, we consider one more big idea to help prepare our minds  and hearts for the upcoming celebration of Thanksgiving. This episode  is the fourth of five messages recently presented to the congregation of Trinity Bible Church, and it challenges us to wrestle hard with the  reality that gratitude is “the will of God” for His people…

    Biblical Thanksgiving (Part 3)

In this episode, we take one more step in the series of mid-week devotionals I’ve been presenting to the congregation I pastor at Trinity Bible Church. These messages were written and presented to help prepare our hearts and minds for the upcoming celebration of Thanksgiving. This episode is the third of these five messages, and it sounds a serious warning about the danger of ingratitude that flow from a spirit and mindset of entitlement.…

    Biblical Thanksgiving (Part 2)

In this episode, we continue a series of mid-week devotionals I have been presenting to the congregation I pastor at Trinity Bible Church. These messages are intended to help prepare our hearts and minds for our upcoming celebration of Thanksgiving. This episode is the second of these five messages. Now, I want to acknowledge (as we begin) that… the audio quality on this recording is not what it normally is due to an unforeseen technical glitch. Regardless, we pray this message will both challenge and encourage your soul as you worship and praise our great and worthy God…

    Biblical Thanksgiving (Part 1)

In this third episode (and in a few more episodes to come), I want to take us in a slightly different direction. The Lord recently burdened my heart to spend the next several weeks of mid-week services at Trinity Bible Church—the church I pastor—preparing our congregation for our upcoming celebration of Thanksgiving. To do that, I will be presenting 4 shorter mid-week devotionals culminating in a Sunday morning sermon on the theme of biblical gratitude and thankfulness. This episode is the first of these five messages…

    David Mainesmith Interview (Part 2)

In this, our second episode, I continue my conversation with David Mainesmith, a faithful member and committed evangelist in our church. This past year David was diagnosed with ALS, and in this episode I start with a testimony David shared with our congregation just after he received his diagnosis before continuing my recent interview with him.

    David Mainesmith Interview (Part 1)

In this very first episode, I sat down with David Mainesmith (a member of our church) to discuss his personal testimony of faith in Christ and the work that God has done and is doing in his life. This past year, David was diagnosed with ALS. This is the first in a two-part interview.
