(New Year Podcast Message) & Episode: "Divorce With Dignity: Protecting Families, Finances & Futures"

New Year 2026 Podcast Message As we step into 2026, I want to pause—just for a moment—with you. Not to rush forward. Not to pretend the past didn’t happen. But to acknowledge the courage it took to arrive here. If you are listening to this, it means you survived another year. And for some of you, survival itself was the victory. 2025 may have been a year of reckoning. A year where truths surfaced—some gently, some painfully. A year where old wounds whispered again, or perhaps finally spoke aloud. And yet… here you are. Breathing. Listening. Still becoming. This podcast has always been a space for the things we were once told to hide. The stories that were buried under silence. The parts of ourselves that learned to shrink in order to stay safe. And the long, courageous journey of reclaiming our voices. As we enter 2026, I want to remind you of this truth: Healing is not linear. Strength does not always look loud. And choosing yourself—again and again—is not selfish; it is sacred. Some of you are learning how to live after betrayal. Some are navigating faith after disappointment. Some are rebuilding trust—with others, and with yourselves. Some are still learning that what happened to you was not your fault. Let 2026 be a year where you release the burden of self-blame. A year where you stop asking, “Why wasn’t I enough?” And start affirming, “I did the best I could with what I had.” May this be the year you give yourself permission: Permission to rest. Permission to set boundaries without guilt. Permission to speak your truth—even if your voice shakes. Permission to walk away from what no longer honours your healing. Justice does not always arrive the way we imagine it. But dignity, peace, and self-respect can still be reclaimed. And sometimes, the bravest act is choosing not to abandon yourself again. To those who are grieving—people, years, innocence, or versions of yourself I see you. Grief does not mean you are weak. It means you loved, you hoped, you endured. To those who are still searching for meaning after trauma: Your life is not defined by what harmed you. Your story does not end where the pain began. And to those who feel unseen, unheard, or misunderstood— This space was created for you. In 2026, this podcast will continue to be a place of honesty. A place where survival is honoured. Where faith is questioned, not forced. Where love is expansive. Where healing is allowed to be slow, messy, and real. Thank you for trusting me with your time, your hearts, and your stories. Thank you for showing up—even on days when showing up felt impossible. As we begin this new year together, I leave you with this blessing: May you find safety within yourself. May your healing deepen without rushing. May your boundaries strengthen without apology. May your voice grow clearer. And may you remember—again and again—that your life has value. Welcome to 2026. We are still here. And the journey continues. "The goal is not to 'win' a divorce - it's to exit, it positioned for stability, growth and peace." In this show I sit down with an accomplished family law attorney, Molly Wilson Chung, who represents client in complex divorce, custody, and high-assets matters. From navigating executive compensation and substantial financial assets to litigating high-conflict custody disputes; shares how strong advocacy can coexist with compassion and clarity. We explore how courts determine the best interests of children, how parental rights can be protected without escalating conflict. Why post-divorce matters -such as enforcement and modifications- are often just as critical...
