    Your Soul is at Stake

YOUR SOUL IS AT STAKE. Welcome to More Than The Bag | Season 9, Episode 9. Tonight’s conversation is rooted in Isaiah 55 (NLT) and the invitation God gives us to come to Him. We talked about healing. Deliverance. Repentance. Seeking God. Knowing His ways. Knowing His thoughts are greater than ours. And I shared part of my own testimony—what God has brought me through and how He has shown me that there is freedom on the other side of surrender. Sometimes we want God to heal us without letting go of what wounded us. We want deliverance without repentance. We want the promises of God while continuing to live according to our own ways. But Isaiah 55 calls us to turn from our sins and turn to God. To seek Him while He may be found. To forsake our ways and our thoughts and recognize that His ways are higher and His thoughts are higher than ours. There is healing in God. There is deliverance in God. There is freedom in God. But we have to be willing to turn to Him. My testimony is a reminder that what you've been through does not have to be the end of your story. God can redeem what was broken, heal what was wounded, and deliver you from the things that once had you bound. Your soul is at stake. So the question is not simply, “What do I want God to do for me?”  The question is: “Am I willing to turn from my ways and truly turn to Him?” 📖 Tonight's Scripture: Isaiah 55 — New Living Translation (NLT) 🎙️ MORE THAN THE BAG Truth | Transparent | Transformative If this episode speaks to you, share it with someone who needs to hear it. The Moment of Dissipation

What if the storm was never about destroying you? What if God was tearing up the things that could not go with you? In this episode of More Than The Bag, Dr. Kerrie Carter-Walker shares a powerful revelation God gave her through a vision of a tornado. In the middle of the storm, there was still calm. There was sunshine. There were clouds. And then came the moment of dissipation—the moment when the tornado began to disappear. And what was left? Calm. Peace. Clarity. Understanding. Joy. The storm had done its work. Things had been torn up, but some things needed to be torn up because they could not go into the next season. But the rebuilding still had to happen. he difference is—we rebuild with God. Sometimes we go through seasons filled with tears, prayers, fasting, confusion, and emotions we don't understand. We ask, “Why me?” We wonder why God allowed certain things to happen. But what if it was never about you? What if there is an appointed time when someone will need to hear your testimony—and you had to experience the storm so you could speak from experience? You had to cry. You had to pray. You had to fast. You had to wrestle. You had to walk through it. Not because God wanted to break you, but because He was preparing you to understand something you couldn't see in the middle of the storm. The moment of dissipation is when you can finally see clearly. This episode is a reminder that after the storm, there may still be rebuilding—but there can also be peace in knowing that God was with you through every moment. This is More Than The Bag. May My Faith Have Faith Enough for Me

More Than The Bag | Season 9, Episode 6 | May My Faith Have Faith Enough for Me What happens when your faith is being tested and you have to trust God beyond what you can see? In this episode of More Than The Bag, we’re talking about a faith that presses, believes, stands, and trusts God regardless of the outcome. We dive into three powerful biblical passages: 📖 Mark 5:24–34 (NLT) — The woman with the issue of blood pressed through the crowd because she believed Jesus could change her situation. 📖 Mark 9:24 (NKJV) — “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!” A powerful reminder that we can bring our struggles with belief honestly to Jesus. 📖 Daniel 3:16–30 — Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego demonstrated an unwavering faith that said, God can deliver us—but even if He doesn't, we still won't bow. What kind of faith do you have when God hasn't answered yet? Can your faith stand when your circumstances don't change? Can you trust God even when you don't understand what He's doing? May my faith have faith enough for me. 📚 THIS WEEK'S HOMEWORK Read: Romans 4 — Faith and believing God's promises. Hebrews 11 — The Hall of Faith and what it means to believe God without seeing the full promise. Take some time this week to ask yourself: “Do I trust God because of what He can do, or do I trust Him because of who He is?” 🌱 SUPPORT ABUNDANTLY ANCHORED MINISTRIES If More Than The Bag has blessed you, consider partnering with Abundantly Anchored Ministries as we continue sharing the Gospel, serving our community, meeting practical needs, and building the Kingdom of God. Biblical Hope vs. Regular Hope: What Are You Really Standing On?

What’s the difference between simply hoping something happens and having biblical hope? n Season 9, Episode 2 of More Than the Bag, Dr. Kerrie Carter-Walker breaks down the difference between regular hope—the kind that says, “I hope this works out”—and the biblical hope that is rooted in God’s character, His promises, and His faithfulness. Biblical hope isn’t wishful thinking. It isn’t dependent on circumstances looking good. And it doesn’t disappear just because you’re still waiting. Biblical hope has an anchor. There will be seasons when what you see doesn’t look anything like what God promised. There will be moments when disappointment, delay, and uncertainty challenge what you believe. But our hope was never supposed to be anchored in an outcome—it is anchored in God. If you’ve been waiting on God, battling discouragement, questioning what He said, or trying to hold onto your faith when your circumstances tell a different story, this episode is for you. ⚓ Stay Anchored™.
