Healing After Birth: A First-Time Mom’s Guide to Pelvic Floor Therapy with Dr. Jaclyn Rabito

Send us Fan Mail Healing After Birth: A First-Time Mom’s Guide to Pelvic Floor Therapy In this episode, Dr. Jaclyn Rabito shares what pelvic floor therapy really looks like for first-time moms during pregnancy and postpartum recovery. We talk about common symptoms moms often ignore when it may be time to seek support, what to expect during sessions, and some of the biggest myths surrounding pelvic floor health. Tune in to learn how pelvic floor therapy can support healing after birth and help moms feel more confident in their bodies again and why postpartum recovery deserves more open and honest conversations. About Dr. Jaclyn Rabito Dr. Jaclyn Rabito is a physical therapist who works with people across all stages of life, helping moms return to their routines while also treating their children. She originally began her career in pediatrics, but after many moms started asking for support themselves, her work naturally expanded into pelvic floor therapy. After helping one mom through her own recovery journey, Dr. Rabito pursued specialized pelvic health training — and the rest is history. Her passion for this work is deeply personal. During college, she became seriously ill and was told she might never walk again. With the support of an incredible physical therapist who believed in her every step of the way, she was able to recover and walk again. That life-changing experience inspired her to dedicate her career to helping others heal and regain confidence in their bodies. Today, Dr. Rabito helps women navigate pelvic floor dysfunction, urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, prolapse, postpartum recovery, and more. She is passionate about educating and supporting moms through pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond so they feel empowered, informed, and never alone in their healing journey.
