    THE POWER OF GENEROSITY | Why Giving Changes Everything   What if generosity is about far more than money? What if it's one of the ways God transforms our hearts? In this message, we explore The Power of Generosity and discover why giving is such an important part of our walk with Jesus. Looking at the story of David and Mephibosheth in 2 Samuel 9, we see a beautiful picture of the kindness of God. David sought out someone who had nothing to offer him, restored his dignity and welcomed him to the king's table. It's a picture of the Gospel and the generosity Jesus has shown us. We explore two important questions: 1. Why is generosity so powerful? Generosity keeps our hearts free from the grip of mammon. Giving challenges selfishness and greed. Generosity helps establish God as first in our lives. 2. What does the Bible teach us about giving? Understanding the principle of firstfruits and tithing. The difference between giving and sacrificial generosity. Learning to live as stewards rather than owners of what God has entrusted to us. Ultimately, generosity isn't just something we do. It's a reflection of the heart of God. We were born selfish, but made new through a radically generous Gospel, so that we can live radically generous lives.     THE POWER OF INTERCESSION| HANDS LIFTED - CANDICE REARDON

    What happens when we pray? In Exodus 17, Israel enters its first recorded battle after leaving Egypt. Joshua fights in the valley while Moses stands on the mountain with his hands lifted before God. When Moses' hands become tired, Aaron and Hur come alongside him and hold his hands up until the battle is won. This picture gives us a powerful understanding of intercessory prayer.   Prayer is not passive. Prayer is partnership. Prayer is sometimes a battle. And we were never meant to pray alone. In this message, we look at Moses, Aaron and Hur as a picture of how God meets us in prayer, and how Jesus continues to intercede for us as our High Priest. We also explore the work of the Holy Spirit, who helps us in our weakness when we don't know what to pray. Ultimately, Moses builds an altar and calls it Jehovah-Nissi: The Lord is My Banner.     HEAVEN WAITS FOR YOU TO PRAY - CANDICE REARDON

    What if prayer is not simply asking God to do something, but partnering with Him to see His will established on earth? In this message, "Heaven Waits for You to Pray," we begin a new series on Intercessory Prayer and explore what it means for the Church to truly become a House of Prayer. If God is sovereign, why do we need to pray? Because prayer is not in competition with the sovereignty of God. It is one of the ways God has chosen to accomplish His purposes on the earth. Jesus said, "My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations." The Church is called to stand in the gap, interceding for people, communities and the world around us.
