You really should stop asking for reviews and feedback if you don't intend on actually listening or accepting them as constructive feedback (my comment, meant to honestly help you, as someone with extensive podcast experience, was taken smugly and defensively). And if you think one or two lukewarm reviews is troubling, you have a loooonng way to go in this field. You should try actually analyzing the things that could help to improve (not just audio, which should be a given). I understand the content you are covering is difficult, but it often sounds like 2 hours of Devon being literally dragged into topics, kicking and screaming. Kate can then come across a pretending to care, while still barreling on, but torturing with further information. You have CHOSEN this content, so you need learn how to be professional, and present this in a way that listeners actually want to listen, or else host certain episodes alone. This goes from being a challenging but fascinating topic, to turning away listeners. You have good research and clear background, but it takes more than that to be engaging hosts that can go the distance. Both hosts need to work on pacing and tripping over a LOT of their words in narrating - slow down, take a breath, or edit more later. And get to your topic - welcoming Patreon members individually is great for Patreon, as is small talk and off-air chat - not for these channels, a common young podcast problem. This could be great if you put the work in (and yes, even with full-time jobs and families - that's the reality for many of us).
