The level of cooked-ness of the egg is indicative of how much you’re letting your feels hang out. That’s not necessarily a bad thing Poached, unaccompanied: Jesus are you okay Poached, on toast (nothing else): you’re not okay but you’re very pragmatic about it Scrambled: you’re basically all right. Not super happy, not super sad. This is a good baseline. Breakfast sandwich such as a ham egg and cheese: you are nourishing your body and enjoying it Complicated eggs (deviled, flan, custard, Benedict, huevos rancheros): you’re in your self love era So, for example, if someone ate 3 eggs over medium as I did for breakfast the other day, we would say that they are taking care of themselves but it’s a struggle.
