    Meet Andrea with NATDA.

On this episode of WITTI, The ladies interview Andrea with NATDA. Andrea, who has been in trade shows for 22 years, has held a CRM (Certification in Exhibition Management) since 2011 through IEEE (International Association of Events and Exhibitions). This certification requires years of industry experience, extensive coursework, and an examination. Certification holders must also renew their qualifications every three years. The conversation also covers the establishment and objectives of the Women in the Trailer Industry Committee. It was formed to foster a supportive environment for women in the heavily male-dominated trailer industry. The committee aims to build strong women leaders through mentorship, collaboration, and community while acknowledging the challenge of work-life balance. For its first year, the committee's primary goal is to set up a support network. The group also hopes to offer more educational opportunities and host regional events in the future. Committee members were selected from different segments of the industry and geographical locations to ensure diverse representation and expertise. The speakers also discuss a LinkedIn page created as a networking space for women in the industry, where information about industry trends and experiences can be shared. The group is also planning a Women Business Roundtable and networking event, which Caitlin will moderate. This event will be an opportunity for brainstorming and discussing hot topics in the industry.
