    When I Grow Up

“When I Grow Up” Abundant Living TALKSHOW & Podcast with Lytia S. Brock Growth is often romanticized, but in this episode of Abundant Living TALKSHOW & Podcast, Lytia S. Brock brings a necessary truth to the forefront—growing up isn’t just about age or achievement, it’s about healing, awareness, and intentional evolution. “When I Grow Up” challenges listeners to rethink what maturity really looks like. It’s not perfection. It’s not having all the answers. It’s the willingness to confront yourself honestly and commit to becoming better—mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. This episode centers on mental wellness and happiness as daily choices, not distant goals. Lytia speaks directly to the pressure many carry to “have it all together,” while silently navigating stress, burnout, and emotional weight. With clarity and compassion, she reminds listeners that true growth begins when we stop performing and start doing the internal work. Through transparent insight, this conversation explores: What it really means to take responsibility for your healingHow to prioritize your mental well-being without guiltThe discipline of choosing peace over chaosAnd the importance of learning as you grow, not just going through the motionsLytia emphasizes that becoming a better person is not about image—it’s about alignment. Alignment with your values. Alignment with your purpose. And most importantly, alignment with God. A heartfelt moment in this episode is dedicated to honoring the life and legacy of Rodney McBride, a respected artist and musician whose impact continues to resonate. This tribute serves as a reminder that while life is fragile, legacy is built through how we live, love, and show up for others. “When I Grow Up” is not just a conversation—it’s a call to action. To truly pause. To truly reflect. To truly grow with intention. Because growth doesn’t happen by accident—it happens when you decide to do the work.
