Episode 19: The "In Your Face" brevity of the Xcitement Wrestling Federation!

Picture the scene, meatsiders: It's 2001, and the "big 3" of mainstream US wrestling has whittled down to just 1; and while the then-WWF acquired a number of contracted talents, many were left out of work. Thankfully, a team of legendary wrestling luminaries, backed by a self-made millionaire, were making plans for a family-friendly alternative to Vince McMahon's monopoly? Episode 18: The destructivity of The Ultimate Warrior's WWF World Title run.

FEEL MY PAIN, MEATSIDERS, as I call on the Gods to help me discuss a force of nature in the late '80s and early '90s of the World Wrestling Federation. Always a whirlwind of power and tassels, The Ultimate Warrior would quickly rise to the top of the WWF, eventually dethroning "The Immortal" Hulk Hogan to win the World Heavyweight title. This episode looks at his reign, and discusses if it was a good move to let him run with the ball. This episodes tasty libations were "Che Guava", a tasty Lager; and "Chokka Mokka", a chocolate-infused stout, from the always fantastic William Brothers Brewing.
