    SUMMER IS SO OVER

    Lizz and Elise are BACK on the podcast and Kelly is SO happy about it! You would think they talk all the time, but in reality the podcast is really the only time the two sisters get to chat.     ELISE HAS ENTERED THE CHAT 

    Lizz is back! She's got a new little one with her and is ready to share the birth story. First, a quick catch up as the ladies prepare for the launch of the brand new website. They bought the purses for the launch giveaway, which was quite an experience. The family has also started a September walking challenge. Who will take the win? Then, an update on Kelly's first ever fantasy football league and the questionable trades she's already made.  Then, it's on to the most lovely birth story you may ever hear. Lizz talks about how they went into the hospital without a name and ended up with one that wasn't even in their top picks. But the sweetest moment was when they revealed to Kelly the middle name they picked. Before they go, it's time for a quick Last Three Transactions. There are a couple kid birthdays coming up so both Kelly and Lizz are getting ready. Plus, Lizz is continuing to find ways to keep her other two kids entertained while she's with the baby.

    LIST IT, SELL IT, DON'T BE SCARED w/ THE MARKETPLACE MOM

    Lizz is still on maternity leave, but that is just fine when Kelly has a LOT to talk about from a busy week! Today is a special one with the return of The Marketplace Mom, Olivia. She talked to Kelly and Lizz last summer about how she made selling on Facebook Marketplace her side hustle. Now, she has turned that into a thriving Instagram account with almost 20,000 followers!     SIDE HUSTLE SUMMER THREE-PEAT

    Surprise! We've got a second episode for you this week and it's all about Side Hustle Summer. Three amazing ladies join the Carpool Podcast to talk about their side hustles.  First, Beverly is running a side hustle close to our hearts. She runs her own summer camp for local kids out of her home. What started as a way to keep her kids and their friends entertained evolved into a business. She's even gone back to school to learn how kids learn!  Then, Lynsey The Memory Mom is helping moms turn their overloaded camera rolls into home movies. After having her first child she was looking for a program to help her arrange and create using all the photos and videos she had of her baby. When she couldn't find what she was looking for, she just created it herself!  Finally, friend of the Car Mom, Megan, joins to talk about her side hustle The Nurturing Nook. She helps parents design and create custom nurseries for their little ones. Once again, this is another business created after seeing a need for herself and realized parents were struggling with the same problem. Now she is creating beautiful nurseries!

    MEAL PREP PERFECTION w/ NATALIE FROM HOME BEGINS WITH LOVE

    The kids are back to school, but Kelly isn't slowing down. The new website is almost ready to launch with a big celebration on September 10 in St. Louis. But don't worry; if you don't live near St. Louis, there will be another way you can be a part of the fun. You might even win a designer purse! Kelly is also headed to the "Kids in Motion" conference. What does one wear to a car seat convention?  Then it's time for a chat with Natalie Johnson from Home Beings with Love. She is the meal prep queen and gives us more advice on prepping dinners for the whole family. She talks about her go-to freezer meals that you will actually want to eat and her rolling 3-day dinner plan.

    Good news, Lizz had her baby! Bad news, she's not quite ready to be back on the podcast yet. That means a semi-solo episode with Kelly and a special guest joining us at the end. Before the guest, Kelly catches her up on the best summer ever!     PANDY HAS ARRIVED!

    As of the recording of this episode, there still is no new baby St. John. However, Lizz is out and Sam is in! This week on the podcast @MamaKnowsCarSeats is joining Kelly as co-host. While the baby hasn't arrived yet, it doesn't mean the family isn't expanding. Kelly traveled to Kentucky to meet the newest addition to the Car Mom family - her Ford Expedition! She tells us all about traveling to the factory and how Ford pulled a fast one on her that led to the most emotional moment ever at a car factory.  There's one major story this week that MUST be discussed with Sam, the new list of best cars for carseats. Cars.com released their annual list and there is a LOT to talk about. Do Kelly and Sam agree with what they came up with? Let's just say they have some takes. While they are on Industry News, they have to talk about the new Tesla Y L.
