I’m not one to listen to podcasts but I am one who likes to read. A few years back my cousin introduced me to this series. She sat me down, looked me dead in the eye, and said smt along the lines of, “You HAVE to read these books. Let me show you why.” And we read the beloved chapter 42. Without any context when reading it with her, I immediately fell in love with the books and began reading the series. I came across this podcast a while later and then immediately fell in love with this podcast. It’s the only one I listen to. You two are hilarious and intelligent people who know what they’re talking about. Bro don’t been get me started on when I heard you two explain how Fintan is likely Sophie’s father. I. FLIPPED. OUT. I have had LITERAL DEBATES WITH MY FRIENDS about it. I kid you not, I’ve walked up to whiteboards with an expo marker in hand and drawn out diagrams and pictures and quotes from the book to show evidence that this theory is legit. I even recommend to my friends to listen to your podcast so I can laugh in their faces and say, “SEE, I’M NOT CRAZY!”… ok maybe I am a little bit. Sorry this is a long review. I know how hard it is for you guys to keep up with the reviews. Overall, I just want to say thank you for taking the time out of your schedules to make this show, not only to have good laughs but to have deep conversations about the books, and sometimes life itself. You guys have made me laugh, made me rethink my own perspective on these books. Thank you. Thank you thank you thank you!!!
