I really enjoyed listening to both Monica and Jamie’s experience during a difficult time. It’s important to never shut down or stop victims for speaking their truth and experiences. Both women are amazing and sweet individuals who have a right to speak out. I look forward to future episodes! Also they have such a beautiful friendship that makes me each want to become friends with them.

A bit late to the party here! As someone who was in the anime convention circuit in the early 2000s, I don’t think I know a single woman my age (or younger!) who hadn’t had at least one uncomfortable interaction like the ones discussed in this podcast. The anime community in general has a major problem with this, and I’m just so glad people are discussing it and that people are fighting back! Great job, ladies!

Super ashamed of the listeners who genuinely starred this pod down without listening or not listening with an open mind. Hopefully, if something similar ever happens to you, there will be people around who believe you. The other “stans” downing this pod—not even worth mentioning y’all. 👌 pathetic people. Also, I didn’t even know about this trauma and the drama/truly terrible treatment that happened to that man’s survivors—until a friend of mine even told me about it. I’m not super active in the anime fandom, unless it comes to specific shows. And I got interested, just because Monica has voiced a few characters that I like—just as he must not be named did. It doesn’t remove the hard work from any of these people, but it makes the person who caused the abuse hard to separate from the art for me personally.

Telling your side of any type of story of SA is always difficult. These women are besties and I love their energy. All of the positive vibes towards Monica and Jamie! ❤️
