Philippians: Citizens of Heaven | Daniel Leeves

How do we live with unwavering purpose and steady hope when the world around us feels increasingly uncertain and complex? In this message, Dan walks us through Philippians 1:27–30, unpacking Paul's challenge to "conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ"—or more literally, to live as true citizens of the gospel. Dan explores this passage through three distinct lenses: First, we look at the original text, where Paul encourages a suffering church in a Roman colony to stand firm together in the face of intense opposition. Second, we zoom into our ordinary lives, asking honest questions about where our allegiance lies. Whether we truly allow Jesus to be Lord over our choices, or whether we quietly crave autonomy and self-reliance. Finally, we zoom out to our present uncertain times. Surrounded by the pressures of the climate emergency, the rise of A.I. and the rumours of war, Paul’s charge rings out with great clarity: Whatever happens... live as citizens of heaven. Philippians: To live is Christ, to die is gain | Simon Lang

In this third part of our Philippians series, Simon dives into Philippians 1:12–26 to unpack one of the most iconic verses Paul's letter: "For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain." As we look at the verse it requires us to consider deeply Paul's perspective on life and in so doing Simon challenges and exhorts us to truly treasure the Treasure. How delighting in Christ above all else is where we discover real, abiding life today. Scripture: Philippians 1:12–26 Speaker: Simon Lang Series: Philippians Connect with Us:Thanks for listening! Living Justly | Simon Lang

What does it really mean to live a life aligned with God's heart, and how does His justice extend far beyond just avoiding bad behavior? In this special all-age baptism message, Simon steps away from our Philippians series to explore what it means to Live Justly. Looking at the story of Jesus healing a man on the Sabbath, Simon shows us that biblical justice isn't just about personal morality or living "rightly" with God and others... it is an active calling to step in and make wrong things right. Through this powerful story, we see how Jesus chooses compassion over rigid rules, inviting all of us to join Him in bringing restoration, mercy, and renewal to the world around us. Philippians: Love Overflowing | Daniel Leeves

What lies at the very heart of authentic discipleship, and how do God’s promises sustain us as we grow? In this message, Dan takes us into the opening lines of Philippians 1:1–11, exploring Paul's warm prayer of thanksgiving. Written from a prison cell to the whole church, Paul remarkably chooses not to pray out of his immediate problems, but instead focuses on the deep work God is doing in their lives. We zeroe in on the incredible promise of verse 6 – that the God who began a good work in us will carry it through to completion. We explore how biblical discipleship is ultimately about cultivating a lived-out "knowledge and depth of insight" that causes our love for God and others to overflow more and more. Philippians - Introduction | Simon Lang

How does God build a community capable of changing the world out of people who seem to have absolutely nothing in common? In this opening message of our new series on Philippians, Simon takes us back to the very beginning of the story in Acts 16. Before Paul ever wrote a letter to the church in Philippi, we see how the gospel first broke into this ancient Roman colony through three strikingly different individuals: a wealthy businesswoman, a exploited slave girl, and a hardened Roman jailer. Simon explores how the gospel crosses every social, cultural, and economic line to bring people together, showing us that the foundation of true gospel partnership starts in the most unexpected places. Psalms of Ascent | Simon Lang

What if the songs we listen to on our journey through life are actually shaping who we become along the way? In this final message of our series on the Psalms, Simon Lang uses the vivid picture of a road trip playlist to explore the Psalms of Ascent (Psalms 120–134). These ancient songs served as the ultimate traveling soundtrack for God’s people as they made their pilgrim journey up to Jerusalem for the annual festivals. Simon guides us through several of these traveling songs, showing how they gave voice to every stage of the trek—from weary longings and dangerous roads to shared celebration. We discover how these timeless verses still give us a faithful soundtrack for our own daily walk with God, keeping our eyes set on Him wherever the road leads. In this message, Hannah Moulton takes us into the depths of Psalm 119 to explore what it means to seek genuine wisdom. While the world around us is packed with noise and rapid answers, Hannah shows us how this landmark psalm points us back to God's Word as the ultimate source of clarity, stability, and life.
