    Ep. 42: What Is Hell?

What is Hell? Is Hell a real place? Why did God create Hell, and what happens to those who reject Jesus Christ? In this episode of 3:16 UNLEASHED, Rev. Tim Welch, Rev. Rex Prescott, and Bro. Dave Thompson open God’s Word to examine one of the most serious questions a person can ask: What is Hell? Many people picture Hell as a place where Satan rules over the lost. But what does the Bible actually teach? Together, we discuss: What Jesus taught about Hell and eternal punishment. Why Hell was prepared for the devil and his angels. What Scripture teaches about God’s judgment. Why God calls humanity to repentance. How salvation through Jesus Christ provides the only way to escape eternal condemnation.Jesus warned about the reality of eternal judgment, but He also came to seek and save the lost (Luke 19:10). In Matthew 25:41, Jesus speaks of everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels. In 2 Peter 3:9, Scripture declares that God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. This conversation is not about Hollywood theatrics or personal opinions concerning eternity. God’s Holy Word has the final say in all matters of faith and doctrine. Our purpose is to open the Scriptures together and examine what God’s Word actually says about Hell, eternal judgment, and the hope of salvation through Jesus Christ. If Hell is real, then the Gospel is urgent. Join us as we open the Scriptures together. Preach Jesus. Love people. Reach the lost. 3:16 UNLEASHED Podcast

    Ep. 40: Who Is Jesus?

Who is Jesus Christ? Is Jesus God? Why did Jesus come to earth, and is Jesus the only way to Heaven? In this episode of 3:16 UNLEASHED, Rev. Tim Welch and Rev. Rex Prescott continue the Back to the Basics series by opening God’s Holy Word to examine the most important question a person can ask: Who is Jesus? Many people recognize the name of Jesus Christ, but who does the Bible actually say He is? Was Jesus simply a good teacher, a prophet, or someone far greater? Together, we examine what Scripture reveals about Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the promised Messiah, and the Savior of the world. In this episode, we discuss: Who Jesus Christ is according to the Bible. What it means that Jesus is fully God and fully man.Why Jesus is called the only begotten Son of God.How the Old Testament Scriptures reveal the promised Messiah. Why Jesus came to earth and willingly gave His life on the cross. Why Jesus Christ is the only way to the Father. In John 1:1, Scripture declares that the Word was with God and that the Word was God. John 1:14 reveals that the Word became flesh and dwelt among us. Jesus Christ is not merely another religious figure. He is the eternal Son of God who came into the world to save sinners. In John 14:6 (KJV), Jesus declares: “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” But the question is not simply who the world says Jesus is. The question is: Who do YOU say that He is? In Matthew 16:15, Jesus asked His disciples this very question, and it remains a question every person must answer. This conversation is not about personal opinions, religious traditions, or what the world wants Jesus to be. God’s Holy Word has the final say in all matters of faith and doctrine. Our purpose is to open the Scriptures together and examine what God’s Word actually reveals about Jesus Christ. Whether you are a new believer, searching for answers, or seeking to grow in your understanding of Scripture, we invite you to join us as we study the person and work of Jesus Christ. Preach Jesus. Love people. Reach the lost. 3:16 UNLEASHED Podcast
