S6 E4. The Healing Journey: Moving Forward Without Forgetting

Healing isn't about forgetting what happened to you. It's about learning how to live alongside your experiences without allowing them to define your present. In this deeply personal episode, Sophia explores the psychology of healing and how trauma affects both the mind and body long after an event has passed. Through personal stories and her own experiences with emotional triggers, she shares why healing is rarely linear and how self-compassion becomes one of the most powerful tools in recovery. Sophia discusses the impact trauma can have on the nervous system, why people can remain stuck in fight-or-flight responses for years, and how healing often requires support. Most importantly, this episode is a reminder that healing doesn't mean becoming who you were before your trauma. It means becoming who you are now while continuing to create joy, connection, and meaningful experiences in your life. In this episode, Sophia leans into: What healing really means Understanding fight, flight, and emotional triggersThe connection between childhood experiences and adult reactions How to recognize when you need additional support Your trauma may be part of your story, but it does not define who you are. Healing takes time, courage, support, and compassion. Keep going, Goddesses! Show some love! Subscribe, drop a rating, and share a review if this resonated with you. Thanks so much! S6 E3. The Veil of Self-Imprisonment: A Journey to Truth

The Freedom of Choosing Yourself What if the very thing keeping you stuck isn't your past, your circumstances, or even the people around you? What if freedom begins the moment you choose yourself? In this deeply nourishing conversation, I sit down with a creative, storyteller, and healing advocate Shylo Moon to explore self-acceptance, family dynamics, personal boundaries, and the transformational power of using your voice. Together, we discuss the uncomfortable reality that healing often requires us to confront the ways we've participated in our own self-imprisonment. Through honesty, vulnerability, and lived experience, Shylo shares how releasing limiting relationships, creating healthy boundaries, and embracing authenticity helped her find freedom on the other side of pain. In this episode, we explore:  Why healing is worth starting, even when it feels overwhelming How joy can coexist alongside deep emotional healing The courage it takes to set boundaries with family  Letting go of guilt while choosing yourselfOne of the most powerful reminders from this conversation is that healing isn't linear. Sometimes we revisit old wounds, not because we've failed, but because another layer is ready to heal. You don't have to stay where you've always been. You don't have to continue carrying what was never yours to hold. And you don't have to abandon yourself to keep others comfortable. Thank you for joining us for this heartfelt conversation. S6. E1. Listening to the Itch: A Season of Healing

After a four-and-a-half-month hiatus, we are officially back for Season 6! This isn't just another season; it is our first-ever Focus Season, and the focus is entirely on Healing. In this premiere episode, I’m getting raw and personal about why I had to step away and what the spring and summer taught me about the skin I’m in. From battling a mysterious rash to sitting down for a live blood test with a naturopath, these past few months have been a wake-up call. I’m realizing that the way I treated my body in my 20s and 30s is simply not connecting with my 40s. We often give credit to our minds and spirits, but our bodies have an identity of their own. Whether it’s picking our lips, biting our nails, or scratching an itch we can’t satisfy, our bodies are constantly communicating. The question is: Are we listening, or are we fighting? If you’re excited about the juicy conversations coming in Season 6, please leave a review on Spotify and share this episode with a fellow podgoddess who needs a season of healing. Season 6 is going to be so, so juicy. Stick with me. Thanks so much!
