Baal Ho Na Ho

Just Imagine!- One day when you wake up, and suddenly you start losing your hair, and in just a few days/months you become bald! BTW, this is called Alopecia - an autoimmune disorder that can happen to anyone and there's no cure found yet. In Indian society, especially for women, being bald is a big taboo, but there are so many women who have stood up against society and shattered the cage of the mind to break these taboos. They believe, beauty is not defined by their hair! To make more awareness about Alopecia, Ep.Log Media along with Ketaki Jani, India's first Alopecian model brings to you- Baal Ho Na Ho, a podcast where we would be meeting many brave hearts who are changing the perception of beauty in society and normalizing Alopecia.

But all the bad that seems to plague me, I swear this autoimmune disease brought me so much good. My parents gifted me a wig which boosted my confidence but somewhere I felt I was living in a world of my own. Alopecia has helped me see through artificial beauty and slowly I began to understand that hair is not what defines me, I am so much more than that. This helped me accept things the way they are I have become more comfortable in my own skin than ever before.I embrace my uniqueness and it helped me grow a thicker skin to jokes and comments. I have realized so many things and the most important one being 'Everything happens for a reasonIt's not about your skin tone, shape, size, or anything that bothers you about your body. It's so much more than that and once you stop sympathizing with yourself for everything you are not, you'll truly see what and who you are! So let's be Imperfectly Perfect people. Shall we?
