The hosts have fun chemistry and give the show a cozy feel. Alana’s aversion to true crime but passion for justice is fun to listen to and Meagan carefully chooses interesting stories with great research. Gary doesn’t know what he’s missing. Never change!

This is one of my all-time favorite podcasts. I check for updates every day. It’s the highlight of my listening routine. Megan does all the research and tells the stories. She’s meticulous, hilarious, and sharp. Her humor is dry and her voice is expressive and soothing. Alana approaches everything with almost childlike unreservedness, speaking candidly and sincerely. Her reactions run the gamut, from calm to spicy to off-topic. Sometimes Megan wonders out loud about her friend’s brain and why it’s like this. It brings me great joy. They have great chemistry. Did I mention the stories? I love the stories. Megan really brings the people and places to life. She’s an amazing storyteller. Recently, I’ve been thinking, “Man, I hope they know how much I love their podcast!” So I thought it was probably time to say something. Joelle

As a chronic sufferer of FOMO but a real hater of true crime, this podcast hits. It’s exactly the right in between of good story telling, without being too technical, and casual conversation. I love it. I’m only a few episodes in but if Alana doesn’t have a tea line by the time I finish, it will be my entire life purpose to get her one. 🖤🖤🖤☕️🫖🖤🖤🖤

Much like some of the teas that Alana describes, this podcast is perfectly balanced. I love how well researched and informative the cases are but the bursts of humor, never at the expense of the victims, are what pushes it over to be two thrusting thumbs up from me. Unfortunately I now have to listen with caution because I have laughed so hard while rocking my baby that I woke her up on several occasions. Alas, it is worth the risk to hear tales of possibly drinking egg nog at a garage sale and seeming to say questionable things to coworkers when actually speaking to a dog. I am binging from the beginning so I look forward to seeing how many more animals the ladies add by the time I am up to date!
