The Strip Club Podcast: The Bare Essentials

As a college student from Wisconsin, I spent the summer in 1993 living and working at an internship in Lansing. One of the guys I interned with, discovered Omar’s and insisted the interns visit. We did many, many times and it was a cool club. The girls were hot and friendly and we all had a good time. I do remember a number of businessman wearing suits, every-time we visited. The girls liked us better because we were closer to their age and we would party with them, outside the club, visiting the college bars in East Lansing, etc. I found the podcast randomly this past week, when I wondered if Omar’s was still in business. Happy to see it is. I have dated a number of woman over the years who used to dance. They all told me interesting and similar stories that were very similar, to what the dancers and EJ the DJ, have said about the club. It’s a great listen and informative about what it’s like working at Omar’s. Keep it up.
