Daily Devotion with Pastor Balla for October 5, 2026

In this Daily Devotion for October 5, 2026, Pastor David Balla walks through Psalm 84:1-3, a deep longing for God's dwelling place, so strong the writer's soul faints for it. Even sparrows find a home near the altar, a picture of God's presence as close, safe, and worth building a life near. This devotion carries that longing to something even greater than the altar. You have Christ Himself, present for you at His own Table, offering His true body and blood, not a symbol but His real presence given for the forgiveness of sins. There we find true grace, forgiveness, and salvation, freely given through His finished work. Through His redemption we are welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven, and in the Lord's Supper that same nearness this psalm longs for is placed into your hands. Do not let that longing fade over time. Come back to it again and again, the way a sparrow returns to her nest, to the true and lasting dwelling place God has given you in Christ. Subscribe for weekly sermons and Daily Devotions. Daily Devotion with Pastor Balla for October 4, 2026

In this Daily Devotion for October 4, 2026, Pastor David Balla walks through Psalm 83:16-18, a prayer for judgment with a surprising goal, not personal revenge, but that enemies would come to know that the Lord alone is the Most High over all the earth. Judgment and mercy work together here, toward one purpose. This devotion traces that same purpose to Jesus, who did not come merely to punish sin but so that people everywhere would know the true God personally. On the cross, God's justice against sin and His mercy toward sinners met completely, satisfied once and for all in Christ. There we find true grace, forgiveness, and salvation, given so that we would know Him, not simply escape judgment. Through His redemption we are welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven, and in the Lord's Supper He makes Himself known to us personally, giving His true body and blood for the forgiveness of sins. God's goal has never changed. He wants every nation, including you and everyone you know, to know Him personally, not merely to see wrongdoing punished. That desire is fully answered in Christ. Daily Devotion with Pastor Balla for October 3, 2026

In this Daily Devotion for October 3, 2026, Pastor David Balla walks through Psalm 83:13-15, a violent-sounding prayer that hands vengeance entirely over to God rather than taking it into human hands. Every verb belongs to God alone. The writer brings his anger honestly and then lets it go on purpose. This devotion points to Jesus, who suffered real injustice yet did not take revenge Himself. He entrusted Himself completely to the Father, who judges justly, and on the cross He bore the full weight of every sin, including our own anger and desire for control. There we find true grace, forgiveness, and salvation, given to us because He carried what we could never carry alone. Through His redemption we are welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven, and in the Lord's Supper He assures us again that our anger and our need are safe in His hands, giving His true body and blood for the forgiveness of sins. Real anger toward real evil is not sin by itself. Bring it to God honestly, the way this prayer does, and trust Him to judge rightly, in His own time and way. Daily Devotion with Pastor Balla for October 2, 2026

In this Daily Devotion for October 2, 2026, Pastor David Balla walks through Psalm 83:10-12, where enemy leaders once sought to take possession of the very pastures of God, reaching for something that was never theirs to claim, an act against God directly, not merely against His people. This devotion names that same impulse alive today, chasing glory that belongs only to God, wanting credit and control that were never given. But what God claims stays His forever. Jesus proved this completely. He was crucified by people trying to seize power for themselves, yet He rose again, and death could not hold what belonged to Him. There we find true grace, forgiveness, and salvation, secured permanently through His finished work. Through His redemption we are welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven, and in the Lord's Supper He gives us what no enemy can ever take away, His true body and blood, for the forgiveness of sins. Nothing you have received from God can be taken from you either, not by any enemy, not ever, no matter how hard they try. What He claims, He keeps. Subscribe for weekly sermons and Daily Devotions. Daily Devotion with Pastor Balla for October 1, 2026

In this Daily Devotion for October 1, 2026, Pastor David Balla walks through Psalm 83:7-9, where a growing coalition of enemies, even the great empire of Assyria, lines up against God's people. Rather than panicking, the writer looks backward, remembering battles God had already won, and asks Him to act again the same way. This devotion applies that same pattern to prayer today. When new threats grow bigger than expected, look backward first. Remember what God has already done through Jesus, defeating sin and death once for all. That victory already happened and belongs to you completely. There we find true grace, forgiveness, and salvation, secured permanently, not dependent on the size of whatever coalition rises against you. Through His redemption we are welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven, and in the Lord's Supper that same finished victory is placed into your hands again, His true body and blood given for the forgiveness of sins. No coalition, however large it grows, can ever undo what Jesus has already accomplished. Nothing and no one can take it back from you. Subscribe for weekly sermons and Daily Devotions. Daily Devotion with Pastor Balla for September 30, 2026

In this Daily Devotion for September 30, 2026, Pastor David Balla walks through Psalm 83:4-6, where enemy nations join together with one shared goal, to wipe out Israel completely and erase its name forever. That ancient plan failed. Israel is still here today. This devotion applies that same pattern to opposition against Jesus and His Church today, coming from many directions at once, organized and committed, yet no more successful than the enemies of old. Jesus has already secured His name and His Church at the cross, and no plan raised against Him has ever succeeded or ever will. There we find true grace, forgiveness, and salvation, secured permanently through His finished work. Through His redemption we are welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven, and in the Lord's Supper He continues to build and strengthen His Church, giving His true body and blood for the forgiveness of sins. Do not be afraid when pressure comes from every side at once. The name that matters most cannot be erased. Jesus is still building His Church today, brick by brick, and nothing can tear it down. Daily Devotion with Pastor Balla for September 29, 2026

In this Daily Devotion for September 29, 2026, Pastor David Balla walks through Psalm 83:1-3, an urgent cry against organized hostility rising up against God's own people, treated as an attack against God Himself, because His people belong to Him so closely that what touches them touches Him too. This devotion carries that closeness forward to you today. Whatever opposition you face because you belong to Christ, you are not facing it alone or unnoticed. That belonging was secured completely through Jesus, who bore the full weight of every attack sin could raise against you. There we find true grace, forgiveness, and salvation, given to us as His treasured ones through His finished work. Through His redemption we are welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven, and in the Lord's Supper He assures us again that we belong to Him, giving His true body and blood for the forgiveness of sins. Whatever opposition surrounds you, remember whose treasured one you are. God remains fully aware of every plan raised against you, even when His answer takes longer than you would like. He is watching over you closely, in Christ. Subscribe for weekly sermons and Daily Devotions. Daily Devotion with Pastor Balla for September 28, 2026

In this Daily Devotion for September 28, 2026, Pastor David Balla walks through Psalm 82:7-8, where every human ruler, however exalted, still dies like any prince. No title changes that outcome. Only God possesses authority that never falls and never needs replacing. This devotion follows that plea, arise, O God, judge the earth, to Jesus, who was judged unjustly by human courts yet rose again to become the true and lasting Judge over all nations, having already borne the judgment sinners actually deserved in their place. There we find true grace, forgiveness, and salvation, secured completely through His finished work. Through His redemption we are welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven, and in the Lord's Supper that same settled judgment comes to us again, His true body and blood given for the forgiveness of sins. When earthly authority disappoints you, as it eventually will, remember where lasting judgment actually rests. Every human prince falls. Christ alone reigns forever, and His judgment over you has already been settled completely in your favor through His cross. Subscribe for weekly sermons and Daily Devotions.
