Pastor Sergio,
I first heard of the affair and you losing the church actually at the Legacy Center. I was a volunteer there and worked at partner services. No matter the critical voices towards you among some believers who heard about it, I still believed in your character and leadership.
It was hard though, i mean accepting a leader committing adultery. I thought maybe everything i learned from Pastor Sergio might not hold for the future…
I heard at legacy you lost the church as well. And the name changed. Leading me to more questions, like what happened to Pastor Georgina? Did she forgive him or what is she doing now? How is he going to make a comeback, as Dr Tim Storey would say?

My review of the podcast after 45 or so episodes (many I listened to twice)
I have listened to every one of the Restoration podcasts, and at first i was not impressed. I kept listening for the exciting, fleshy, painful details. For instance, how hot was it, or did she look that good, and what torrential thoughts wen through his head in that moment? The first session there was none of that, only something like the “gap between living and preaching” which I did not understand at first.
By session with the free chapel Pastor I realized Holy Spirit at work on a deeper level. They are dealing with principalities, mindsets, the unseen spiritual levels. Beyond names, times, and physical locations I experience Pastor Sergio taking authority over every subject.
I am also blessed by guests remember from attending Cornerstone Church over a decade ago. During the podcast, I found these leaders to be real with the audience about their struggle. They share how they have overcame and continue to reign in their private and public lives. If famous and powerful leaders still like Pastor Sergio and support him, then I have more reason to.

If I could say anything to Pastor Sergio who used to be my pastor, it would be something like this:
ONCE AGAIN, you have proven yourself to be great in my eyes. Thank you for your example of so many valuable lessons. You have an army behind you which I am proud to be a part of, ever since the day I met you in the CCSD overflow room.
