    It is important to realize that God has the perfect plan for each of our lives and has given us what we have for a purpose, it is also critical to understand that time and chance happens to us all (Ecclesiastes 9:11). With all of this in mind, I want to encourage you to not compare yourself or your circumstances to others. God created and appointed you a (insert your divine calling here) unto the nations, Jeremiah 1:5. We are meant to run our own races and everyone will deal with differing setbacks, however we serve a just God and He will never deal us a card that He knows we can not handle.     It's September, and with all the talk about the 'great lock-in,' it’s the perfect time to remind ourselves where our focus truly belongs—on Christ. It’s easy to get caught up loving the things of this world, but Scripture calls us to stay grounded in faith. Don’t be like Demas, who abandoned his mission because he loved the present world. Instead, let’s be like Onesimus—once separated, but restored to the kingdom family and made useful for God’s work. ‘Perhaps the reason he was separated from you for a little while was that you might have him back forever’ (Philemon 1:15).
