    A 60-day negotiating period between Iran and the United States has ended without a peace agreement. Iran has since announced it is shifting from a “defensive” to a “fully offensive” posture. The Federal Government is moving ahead with plans for a $3.2 billion strategic fuel reserve, which will eventually hold one billion litres of diesel and jet fuel.     Emily Molinero, with Japanese and Australian roots, was born and raised in Yokohama, Japan. Having spent her life in Japan up to university, she used to feel self-conscious about not being able to speak English well, but she now works as an interpreter and translator in Melbourne.     "When You Call My Name": Cowra memorial project comes to Perth - カウラに眠る日系民間人を追悼する「When You Call My Name」、パースで再展示

    The art project "When You Call My Name" honours the memory of 208 Japanese civilians buried at the Japanese War Cemetery in Cowra, New South Wales. Following an exhibition at the Australian National University in Canberra last year, the project will be presented again at Murdoch University in Perth on 29 August, marking the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Basic Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation between Australia and Japan. We revisit our interviews with three people involved in the project, including one of its key figures, Mayu Kanamori.
