Because this isn’t just another protest. This is the fight over Israel’s soul. The Haredi world says Torah study protects us spiritually. The rest of the country says, “Yeah, but someone has to pick up a weapon too.” Both believe they’re defending Israel, they just live in two completely different Israels.
