    Considering Sparrows with Kevin Burrell

Episode 22 Kevin Burrell is the co-lead Pastor of StoneBridge Church Community in Charlotte, North Carolina. An avid birder, Kevin’s pastoral heart and avian interests united with the formation of his blog, Ornitheology, where he utilizes birds as illustrations of the Christian life. His first book, called Considering Sparrows: What Birds Teach Us About Who We Are, Where We’re Going, and the Joy of Following Jesus, came out just a few days ago, and it’s terrific. I loved this time I got to spend with Kevin, and I think you’ll enjoy this interview, too. Purchase Considering Sparrows: What Birds Teach Us About Who We Are, Where We’re Going, and the Joy of Following Jesus on Amazon.  Kevin’s blog, Ornitheology.com, is fantastic.  I especially like his post about how bad movies are at getting birds right.  You can also find Kevin on Instagram and Facebook. Kevin’s tribute to Rich Mullins is at The Rabbit Room, which also has another article on God’s gratuitous beauty.
