    Inspiration

In this episode we tackle the question that most writers dread: where do you get your inspiration? So we discuss:  Why we love writing about a*****e characters (lookin' at you, Lian Kilen Wang!)  How being queer influences the kind of stories we want to write  Those pesky little things that won't leave our heads until we write them  Writing what we want to read because nobody else is writing it  Aspects of relationships we desperately want to show  How to actually start the thing  So tune in and fic off!

    Alternate Universes

Let's talk AU. What makes something an alternate universe, and not just canon divergent? How do you stay true to a character when you stick them in an alternate reality? And why do we love Coffeeshop AU so gosh darn much???
