Original Pokéman

Why has this show not continued? At time of writing there are only a handful of episodes and no new ones in more than 2 years. This podcast is my favorite pokemon flashback podcast/behind the scenes we never got from a tv program that was a pivotal time in my childhood. Believe it or not, Mr Haigney’s script helped my classmates and me stay good-natured and to find common ground with each other. I went from being alone on the playground and crying before having to go to school, to being a popular kid and making some lifelong happy memories. All of that magic is here. Mr Haigney gives fascinating details about both the Japanese and American versions of Pokemon. Additional details he doesn’t initially know he always finds out or corrects the next time around. I only hope this show stopped because Mr Haigney is hard at work on another program, helping the next generation of kids find commonality with each other and joy in life. But Mr Haigney, if it’s at all possible, would you please bring back this wonderful podcast?

Met Michael last week while he was doing a signing at Heros Hideout. First of all just an amazing person. Everyone in line, he would have a genuine conversation with and honestly my signed Charmander pop is my new favorite pop lol. I just finished listening to the 7th episode and I love how in-depth he goes about each episode. I never realized how involved he was with the making of the American adaptation of the show. If you are a fan of Pokémon I definitely recommend checking this podcast out to get a great behind the scene look of the original anime.
