Are You Blaming God for a Decision You Made?

Send us Fan Mail Have you ever made a decision, faced the consequences, and then wondered why God allowed it to happen? Sometimes we ask God for things without considering His warnings. We follow our own desires, ignore the direction He's given us, and then struggle when things don't turn out the way we expected. In 1 Samuel 8, Israel demanded a king despite God's warnings about what that decision would cost them. Their story raises an uncomfortable question for us today: Are we blaming God for the consequences of decisions we insisted on making? In this episode of Kidds Room Podcast, we're talking about self-sabotage, personal accountability, and the importance of recognizing when our own desires are leading us away from God's direction. 📖 SCRIPTURE 1 Samuel 8 💭 LET'S REFLECT: Are there areas of your life where you're asking God to fix something you may need to take responsibility for first? This isn't about blaming ourselves for every hardship we experience. It's about being honest about our choices, learning from our mistakes, and seeking God's wisdom as we move forward. Stop Saying “One Day” to God | The Power of NOW

Send us Fan Mail How many times have you told yourself, “One day, I'll get closer to God”? One day, I'll stop making the same mistakes. One day, I'll take my faith seriously. One day, I'll finally change. But what if you keep putting off the very thing God is calling you to do today? In this episode of Kidds Room Podcast, we're talking about the power of NOW, the importance of responding to God's call, and how small decisions made consistently can transform your walk with Him. You don't have to become perfect overnight. You have to be willing to start. Whether it's turning away from sin, building discipline, choosing obedience when it's difficult, or finally surrendering your life to Christ, don't let “later” become an excuse to ignore what matters today. 📖 Scriptures to reflect on: • Hebrews 3:15 • 2 Corinthians 6:2 • Luke 16:10 Remember: salvation is a gift of God's grace, not something we earn through our works. We respond to His grace by turning to Him, trusting Him, and learning to walk in obedience. Stop waiting for the perfect time to start living faithfully. Your response to God matters NOW. 💬 QUESTION: What is one thing you've been putting off that you need to address today? Is God Speaking But You Don't Recognize His Voice? | 1 Samuel 3

Send us Fan Mail Have you ever wondered if God is speaking, but you just don't recognize His voice? In 1 Samuel 3, Samuel hears the Lord calling him, but he doesn't recognize who is speaking at first. It takes guidance, understanding, and a willingness to listen before Samuel responds, “Speak; for thy servant heareth.” In this video, we're looking at **1 Samuel 3:2–10 and 1 Samuel 3:19–21**, with a special focus on verses 10 and 21. We'll explore what Samuel's experience teaches us about recognizing God's voice, growing in His Word, and developing a heart that's willing to listen and respond. Sometimes we're so focused on looking for an answer that we forget to prepare ourselves to listen. 📖 SCRIPTURE: 1 Samuel 3:2–10, 19–21 💭 REFLECT: Are you making time to know God's Word, or are you only looking for Him when you need an answer?
