EP11: Loki, Hulk, Doom & the Multiverse Collapsing?!

Episode 11 of The Wildcard Protocol is here, and we’ve got a LOT to talk about. First, we’re jumping back into the Marvel bag after watching Avengers: Endgame Encore. I break down my experience seeing Endgame back in theaters, my issue with the Infinity Vision exclusive content, and—most importantly—the new scenes setting the stage for Avengers: Doomsday. What is Loki doing with Steve Rogers? Why is Doctor Doom coming to collect Bruce Banner? What happened to the thousands of universes disappearing from the TVA’s multiverse? And just how much of what we saw could be setting up the beginning of Doomsday? Then we move over to Resident Evil, a movie I went into with extremely low expectations… and walked out of genuinely enjoying. I talk about why its ground-level approach to Raccoon City worked for me, the little references to the games, and why Resident Evil fans might want to give it a chance—even if it isn’t the adaptation they were expecting. On the gaming side, we’ve got one of the strangest Xbox stories I never expected to discuss: Halo potentially moving forward under Activision. What could an Activision-developed Halo actually look like? Could the series benefit from a fresh start, or are we about to get Call of Duty wearing a Master Chief helmet? Plus, I answer an Ask a Wildcard question about rising streaming prices, ads, subscription fatigue, and whether “sailing the high seas” is about to make a major comeback. We also have some Wildcard Protocol housekeeping, Discord updates, the possible return of TikTok streams, and a look ahead at spooky season with Madison, The Evil Within, Dead Space and more. EP10: Sony Keeps Racking Up Ls

We made it to Episode 10 of The Wildcard Protocol! In this milestone episode, I take some time to reflect on the journey so far, officially introduce the Wildcard HQ Discord, and talk about what’s been happening on stream. From there, we get into the conversation surrounding Marvel’s Wolverine and why I think people put way too much weight on reviews instead of forming their own opinions. I also break down Sony’s recent decisions, Hideo Kojima’s shifting partnership, and why Xbox may have just landed a major win. On the anime side, I give my final thoughts on Kuroko’s Basketball, talk about why sports anime has been hitting me differently lately, and share my early impressions of finally diving back into JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. To close things out, I answer a question from the Wildcard HQ community about Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine and whether Logan was the right lead for the original X-Men movies. Gaming, anime, Marvel, community, and plenty of opinions—welcome to Episode X. The Wildcard HQ https://discord.gg/F4nRTy8KXa

EP9: GTA 6 Is Coming… and So Is The Wildcard HQ

On this episode of The Wildcard Protocol, I’m taking a break from Marvel and getting back into gaming, movies, and community updates. I talk about the upcoming Wildcard HQ Discord, share some appreciation for people who showed up for me during a rough week, give my final thoughts on Batman: The Enemy Within, and revisit why Metal Gear Solid 4 still means so much to me. Then it’s time for the big one: GTA 6. I break down what has me hyped, the Red Dead influences I’m noticing, Jason and Lucia’s relationship mechanics, and why I already know Rockstar is probably getting my money more than once. I also share my very unusual experience trying to watch The Odyssey and why I still came away loving the movie. Gaming, nostalgia, community, and a whole lot of GTA 6 hype. Streamer Shoutouts! Protocol Debrief | Spider-Man: Brand New Day

This episode is a raw, unfiltered reaction recorded just a couple of hours after watching Spider-Man: Brand New Day. If things feel a little chaotic or all over the place, that’s because they are, in the best way possible. Running on very little sleep and a whole lot of excitement, I’m diving headfirst into everything that was going through my mind the moment the credits rolled. Expect instant reactions, emotional highs, favorite moments, surprising twists, and all the little details that immediately stood out to me. This isn’t a deep analysis or a carefully crafted review, it’s simply me getting all of my thoughts out while they’re still fresh. If you’re looking for an authentic first impression, you’ve come to the right place. A more structured, in-depth breakdown of Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be coming in a future episode, where I’ll have had more time to process everything and revisit some of the film’s biggest moments. Thanks for listening to The Wildcard Protocol.

EP5: The Return Of The Wildcard

After a long hiatus, The WildCard Protocol is finally back. In this return episode, I open up about where I have been, stepping away from school, prioritizing my mental health, and how therapy has helped me navigate life's challenges. Then it's time to dive into gaming. I break down PlayStation's move toward an all-digital future, the decline of physical media, why game preservation and digital ownership are becoming major issues, and what GTA VI may have to do with the industry's direction.
