Rhodes explains why the gospel has inherently public and political implications, and why Christians should see citizenship as part of discipleship rather than separating faith from public life. The conversation explores “outpost politics,” “pilgrim politics,” and engagement with the halls of power, drawing from examples throughout Scripture—including Daniel, Esther, Joseph, Jeremiah, the Hebrew midwives, and the Old Testament prophets.
