    Resident Evil (2002)

    With Zach Cregger's Resident Evil on everybody's lips we it was no surprise that the 2002 Resident Evil won this week's poll. So today we give you exactly what you wanted. A deep diving look into the first live action attempt at adapting one of the most successful game franchises in histoy. We look at if it is a good game adaptation (spoilers it's not) and what we liked and didn't all while sharing movie facts and our opinions. Late in the show we play a cool game called Evil Resident and get your thoughts in voicemails and 3 word reviews.     The Fog (1980)

    Today we tune up our sexy radio DJ voices and turn the bright lights on to face The Fog of 1980. In a first time watch for Scott we dive into the potential sequel to Halloween 3 and Halloween 1 & 2 and in Scott's head cannon a far superior Halloween 4. This is a super fun episode with us at the most relaxed of the year (must be the smooth Jazz) even when The Pirate Hookers interfere with the show we are still on point. This episode also contains interactive features, voicemails and a cool and very funny game.

With Kane Parsons being the youngest director in the history of A24 and working with a micro budge we didn't necessarily expect big things and we were very wrong.     Let's put a smile on your face! That's right today the show falls back fully under the listeners control an they have picked a banger! We discuss Skye Riley's descent into madness as the Smile demon takes her on a wild ride of facing addiction and loss while delivering some scares that will 100% stay with us. This is a first time watch for Marc so expect some out of pocket commentary on this movie due to his dislike for ambigous horror (that being said he will be fair right?... Right??)     The Deadites Return! Deadites are back and that means we need to talk about it. In this latest instalment we follow Alice and some of her friends in the lead up to and following the death of her abusive husband. Following the discovery of the Kandarian dagger things take a turn as fire obsessed deadites descend on the home they are staying in. Both me and Marc have strong feeling about this instalment and the franchise as a whole so strap in for some potentially hot takes. The plot follows six friends who try to break up the monotony of quarantine by hiring a medium to conduct a séance over a Zoom call. But when one of them disrespects the ritual and invents a fake deceased friend as a joke, they unknowingly open a door for a demonic entity to enter their homes. As the Zoom call counts down, the spirit targets each participant one by one in their own isolated spaces—turning custom digital backgrounds, clever face filters, and basic household items like flour and flash photography into terrifying set pieces.
