Did the refs cost the Cleveland Cavaliers a chance to tie the series against the Boston Celtics?
The Cleveland Cavaliers entered G4 vs. the Boston Celtics trailing 2-1.
In front of the home crowd, the Cavs thought they may get a favorable whistle. According to JB Bickerstaff and Darius Garland afterwards, that was not the case. Neither went too far in on the refs, but both made it clear the 24-7 free throw discrepancy is something the league needs to look in to.
Are the refs the reason the shorthanded Cavs couldn't beat Boston on Monday night? Or did it have to do more with the fact Cleveland was playing without Donovan Mitchell, who suffered a calf injury in Game 3 on Saturday?
Garland, Max Strus and Caris Levert -- and even Evan Mobley -- found their rhythm in Game 4 and kept the Cavs afloat, but it wasn't enough to take down Jayson Tatum & Jaylen Brown.
All this happened on the court with LeBron James sitting courtside. What message was LBJ trying to send by attending his former team's playoff game while trying to leverage a bigger deal from the Lakers? -
A 50/50 chance Justin Fields starts for the Pittsburgh Steelers by the end of season | Brooke Pryor
Without Donovan Mitchell, the Cleveland Cavaliers were facing an uphill battle against the Boston Celtics in G4 Monday night.
Darius Garland, Caris Levert, Evan Mobley and Max Strus did everything in their power to keep the Cavs close, but the shorthanded squad came up just short against the Celtics, falling 109-102. Boston now leads the series 3-1 as they head home to the TD Garden for Game 5 on Wednesday.
LeBron James was sitting courtside for the action last night. What point was he trying to make by attending the Cavs playoff game in person?
The Cleveland Browns learned their first game of the 2024 season will come on a national stage against America's team. How about welcoming the Dallas Cowboys into the Dawgpound for a Week 1 matchup with Tom Brady on the call.
Could you have asked for a better game?
The Cleveland Guardians picked up a big win over the Texas Rangers on Monday, but still have questions about the leadoff spot in the lineup. Is Tyler Freeman the answer in CF moving forward?
Plus, ESPN Steelers beat reporter Brooke Pryor joins the show to give us an inside look at some of the Steelers moves this offseason.
